These are all very fine reasons but they are boring reasons. So, who remains and what is the nature? The remainder, sometimes unremarked, go to war for the raw boredom of civilian life. Gunther is of that stripe: a boring person caught in a boring life now caught in the exciting savagery of campaign and war. Every day he smiles as he marches. Every day is a vacation from the boredom and general drudgery that civilian life brings. Plows? Cows? All of it totally droll and awful. War? Now, that sounds interesting.

Before I actually get invested and post. Will we simply be playing as crusaders and this will be one game, or will we be able to either form our own crusader states or play as descendants or later versions of ourselves? Or both?
