>Name: Kornon Vetrigon
>Race: Salt Touched. Kornon was a human, but has been profoundly affected by his work with the ocean, and some unfortunate magical backlash leaving him with some rather abberant, horrifying mutations, one hand replaced with a claw, his body dotted with scales and carapace, along with a set of gills, and fins in place of toes, among other things. He covers himself well in fine clothes, but it is apparent to any onlookers that he is not entirely normal, if they look close enough.
>level: 1
>Health: Healthy
>Fluff: Kornon was born the son of a fisherman and a pirate, spending his younger days with his father, but being whisked off with his mother in his teen years. A mutiny occured on his mother's death, on account of her age, ending with the ship fractured and broken over the waves, and Kornon in a small life boat, drifting aimlessly for a long while. He was in a dire state, weak and starving, mirages appearing in his mind, most offering absolution, until one offered him life. He took the offer, knowing death was nigh, and the mirage cackled in glee to watch as Kornon shifted to an abberation. Kornon was horrified, but begrudgingly acceptant of his chance at safety.
Eventually he found himself within sight of a ship, and with great difficulty, he was allowed on as a crewman, having kept his mutations hidden as best he was able. He settled in with the other races and misfits of the ship, gaining some measurement of influence, but not much. He is unaware of his status as an Inheritor at present

Fluff: The mad wizard Alvia is what most people would call, a cunt. He spends most of his time researching magic experiments to generally fuck with neighboring towns and villages. After 2455 "apprentices" get flushed down the toilet he finds one that no matter what experiments are done on her. She's been fired out of a cannon, dissected, vivisected, exploded, eaten, hurricaned, and many more other forms of dismemberment and death, but no matter what she wakes up in her master's bedroom, which is considered to be the safest place in the immediate vicinity.

>Fluff: A humble halfling of normal stock, Thimbleby is more accustomed to a pub brawl than a battlefield. While far from what any would consider a warrior, it is said that he's descended from the Halfling 'King' Buttercup, who after being elected mayor of the local hamlet, declared himself King of the Halflings and was summarily clouted over the head and thrown out of office. The only remaining artifact of the 'King' is his trusty cudgel, which has been passed down generation to generation.

>Name: Kreuz
>Race: Human
>level: 1
>Health: Healthy
>Fluff:
Kreuz was born in war and raised in it. Very much like everyone else really. He too lost friends and family. Many of the people he knew perishing in wars supporting one king or another. However it was not the constant instability that bothered him, it was how many of the soldiers were left lying in the dirt, the crippled and wounded, where they would inevitably bleed to death. Kreuz wanted to put a stop to the needless death that followed every battle.
He became a Wizard's Apprentice to heal those who were wounded in battle, however the Wizard who taught him quickly showed him that besides healing there was another more than important magic to be used. Necromancy. The ability to raise those who had died. Though not perfected Kreuz' teacher was convinced that given enough time he could find a way to bring the dead back to life just as they had left it.
Sadly Kreuz' master never got to the part because he was burned alive for fornicating with corpses. Still a young lad, Kreuz carries on his master's legacy, except for the fornication part of course, roaming the sites of great battles to heal those who could still be saved and raise those who couldn't so they may assist him setting up tents and caring for the wounded.

>level: 1
>Health: Healthy
>Fluff:
Frederick was born into a high-class family in the Kingdom of Bruman, one of the few children to be able to get an education, the man was born practically a prince and acted very much like it. He was self-righteous and very much an asshole, but he fought his battles using money and words. Frederick is a financial genius and a political mastermind, capable of striking the most unfair of bargains and moving large sums of gold without leaving a paper trail. Frederick spent his whole life inside the safe walls of the kingdom, and has never really engaged in combat. Frederick is a firm believer in the free-market, dreaming of an ultra-capitalist society in which commerce and economy are put forth above all; Diplomacy is only considered if money is involved, and big business rules the world, where a man is entitled to the sweat of his own brow. With his political skill, money and mastery of business, Frederick plans to take over the kingdom not with a sword, but with a bag of gold and a new constitution.

>Name: Lylla
>Race: Human
>level: 1
>Health: Healthy
>Fluff: Lylla was found as an infant on the doorstep of a Witch, alongside a dead mercenary. She was told it was likely her father, for she had his hair.
Instead of using her as a sacrifice, the Witch kindly raised her. She was not a very powerful witch, and Lylla soon learned most what she could teach. Her skill was alchemy, and she made medicines and "chemicals". Indeed, the witch was as much trying to learn magic as Lylla was. But for the most part, Lylla helped chop wood, gather food, and help her adopted mother focus on her learning.
All Lylla has of her father was his rusted armor, and a musket pistol. She had shined it, and kept it, but never once had a use for it. The witch made a bit of powder to show her how to use it, and it was good timing for with a shot they scared off a big bear. That day, Lylla saw the true power of what that little package was.
But one day, the Witch said that her brother a Wizard was going to burn, for charges of Necromancy and Necrophilia. She was off to save him, and left.
That was the last she ever saw of her. The Witch never returned. Now all she has is an empty home, a pistol, and the notes and leftovers of her. . .missing mother.
She decided to take up her father's armor, to disguise herself, and travel Rosenheim, both to look for her, and find out who she was, and maybe learn a bit of magic on the way.

>>Name: Seamus Lorginson
>>Race: Human
>>Level: 1
>>Health: Healthy
>>Fluff: Born in the kingdom of Breman to a woodcutter, Seamus Lorginson was one of two children. He had a brother, two years his younger, named Vigri. Their father, Lorgin, was a prominent man in his community. He was friendly with nearly everyone.
This made his death harder to bear.
One day, when Seamus was fourteen summers old, Vigri was walking home from the forest, a mighty pine, hewn by his axe, in tow. The noise it made as it crashed through the forest attracted a pack of wolves. Vigri was jumped by the pack, who tore into his sinewy flesh, even as he fought them. Vigri was a mighty man, but he was tired after so much work, and he fell like a mighty oak against many hacking blades.
The day after his disappearance, Seamus' mother, Saga, gathered the boys and some townspeople to go looking for Vigri. They found him, nearly dead upon the road. A quarter mile behind him lay a pine tree, and the corpses of a pack of wolves. The people were speachless. All of them knew that he would die from his wounds, and none knew what to do. One man sent for a priest and another for the undertaker. Vigri beckoned his family over.
"My dear family," he said, a blood stained smile on his face, "I have got you all new coats."
With that, Vigri Jorvarson died. His funeral was the next day. Afterwards, Seamus had to grow up fast to suppourt his family. He went often into the wood to gather lumber for the family, carrying an axe and a bow. Each day, he would come home with a pine tree draging behind him. Sometimes, a few rabbits would hang from it's branches, or even a wolf. One day, he came home, with no tree behind him. When the townspeople looked, they saw that he dragged a brown bear behind him, several arrows piercing it's hide.
After that event, the local lord took notice, and he made Seamus his hunting guide. When the two would go out, Seamus would tell the lord where to step and when to wait. On their fifth hunting trip, the two were surprised by two bears. Seamus felled one, and the lord injured the other, but before he could finish the job, the bear was upon him. Seamus attempted to shoot the bear, but accidentally struck his lord's chest.
The bear ripped the nobleman to shreds.
Knowing nobody would believe his story, Seamus fled South and East, making for the kingdom of Britten. He is still on the road.

>Fluff:
Nikolaus Sorensen, a pretty face, a helpful guy, and a complete and utter disappointment to his family. Born to a huge family, the seventh child of twenty-three, Nikolaus made it a point to spend his time outside of the house, making friends and helping out the community instead of learning trade or skill.
Well, that wasn't entirely true. The boy spent a great deal of time fighting. Not in a rude way - spars, training fights, teaching himself how to lunge and block for years on end. Though friendly to all in his village, the only people who really seemed to accept his nonexistant desires and vague goals of 'helping people' was the local priest and a small group of friends outside his family, who were noticeable for acting almost exactly the opposite of how one would expect teenagers to.
Today, on his eighteenth birthday, his parents announced proudly the boy would be apprenticed to a local blacksmith, to teach him some 'real skills'. With a sigh, Nikolaus committed to his fate - or so they thought, anyway. Later that day, the boy snuck away, spending all his accumulated cash from the years on a shoddy blade (From the same blacksmith) and some sturdy clothes, and set out to see the world through move than above the fire of an anvil. One of the saddest moments of his life, perhaps, but the biggest turning point in it all.

Granix was a dwarven born to a dwarven smith. Thus for the first 50 years of his life he helped with the forge and at times even worked it himself. However the call of adventure and battle was too much for the young dwarf, so he joined the army. Though he was only a footman he acquitted himself well in training and his first skirmish with the monstrous races. Indeed he was noted to have a penchant for the halberd and used it effectively in the narrow corridors below and the vast expanse above.
Then his first real battle came, the position he was ordered to hold came under massive assault. He kept fighting despite his male being torn and his body being battered, the shaft of his halberd striking out and silencing his enemies with it's long reach. Despite the enormous body count he wracked up he fell to the horde just as he heard Dwarvish war drums coming closer.
Granix awoke a day later confused. His body was untouched and he was in a tent for the dead so the could be prepared to be returned to the earth.

This long-established trading relationship has bred a little cultural cross-pollination. A few families claim a dwarf family member somewhere far back in their ancestry, and the local populace have become more proficient at working metals thanks to regular interaction with the hardy mountain folk. The town has even erected cairns to dwarvish gods. While this brings prosperity to Erika's home town, with finely-crafted arms and armour more common than in other small human settlements, it also draws the ire of the enemies of Dwarfkind.
Orcs, goblins, giants and kobolds have all been known to raid the river-side township, and as with many invading peoples, a certain amount of mingling with the locals has occurred over the years. Some families, therefore, bear the taint of monstrous blood somewhere in their genealogy. This is an unfortunate fact of life, and not boasted about in nearly the same terms as dwarvish blood - claimed by many in order to improve their reputations as smiths.
As you might imagine, the town is somewhat divided. The Dwarvish families lord it over those suspected of Orcish taint, tending to edge them out of smithing and towards less highly-regarded professions such as fishing and farming. Friction is commonplace: but all band together to protect their unique way of life from those that would threaten it.
Erika was born of star-crossed love between a destitute fisherman and the daughter of an influential smith. Their feuding families did not approve, at first, but their love was clear to all and eventually, grudgingly, accepted.
Their daughter is strong, no doubt about it. In her youth, she would play-fight with her many brothers and her relations on her mother's side of the family: eventually training with real weapons and learning to conduct herself well in a fight. But she also helped her father fish - boating on the river, helping to steer the craft, haul the nets, even prepare the fish for eating. When she was older, she even took charge of the stall once in a while: and it didn't hurt sales that she'd grown into a beautiful young woman.
Her life is good, her family loving, but still she longs for adventure. One day she'll leave town and venture off into the world to seek her fortune.

This hatred of me has started during my "birth" I saw myself growing as a drider and yet looking like a freak even amongst them. Then I escaped now I try to hunt with what I can birds, deer, horses, and even other elves if I'm desperate enough. But as one guard killed me I came back looking like the same spider like monstrosity as I'm born as. Yet I'm like a spider in it's abilities and sometimes my elvish traits are glossed over because I'm mutated.
For some reason I believed I was a elf. A ranger of some sorts as I watched them in Thebe and the way they treetop to treetop. But I'm a monsterosity a beast of war or a henchman for a madman. Yet I long for adventure in the other lands where I might see my own kind or where I see people like me that's where I'll go someday. But I'm a monster and I need a party to help me.

One of your ancient ancestors was a merman, a monster made when a human receives Neptunes curse. The blood had thinned over the years until the traits it granted your family became unnoticeable, that is. Until you went and got yourself cursed by some sea demon with a plan. You don’t know what he wants from you but you do know that he has brought out the monster within you.

You are an elf with demonic ancestry, an odd mix. The blood is thin but it is there. In your youth your family died during the strife between kingdoms leaving you alone in a big empty house. One day during a stormy night and man shrouded in dark clothing and carrying an odd staff showed up on your doorstep. He claimed that he had traveled far to meet you and that he could offer you much in return for shelter. You agreed. He turned you into his apprentice and taught you the basics of magic.

[Picking up the Pieces] With what you’ve gleamed from your mothers notes she was a prominent researcher for the kingdom of… Sur? The name isn’t familiar to you, it must be a ruined kingdom. Anyway, she was researching a new avenue of fighting, the notes seem to speak of a training ground but you cannot yet decipher for what or where it was located.
[Witch’s Mark] Handling chemicals and dangerous concoctions for years without proper safety equipment has left a rather unpleasant scar on your right forearm. You cannot feel anything from it and the mark is commonly associated with witch craft. Depending on where you are this can cause some problems.
1. Start myself on the quest to find what happened to my mother, find any clues to her whereabouts or the riddles presented to me so far.
2. Start practicing alchemy again. Let's try not to set things on fire on accident. I need to be able to make small amounts of materials without risk.

>Fluff: Durill was a kobold, but this had not been obvious to all who had met him. He was pretty good at fitting in and nobody minded a hard worker, as long as he kept his hood on. Where he fitted in best however were the dwarves, he was pretty skinny looking to them though earning him nicknames like 'scrawny', 'bones' and of course 'smallaxe', that one he kept. However he didn't want to work in the dwarven mines forever, he had the spark of magic within him that he wanted to develop and to do so he knew he had to go out and see the world for himself. And so, with his trusty pickaxe and his meager savings he set out to find someone who could teach him more about this magic of his, beyond the simple tricks he knew. And maybe, just maybe, he thought he could find a place at the end of the road where he could let his hood down.

>level: 1
>Health: Healthy
>Fluff:

Despite your short stature you are very stout and sturdy as a dwarf. You have great stamina and are a natural with the forge. Don’t expect to reach high places or have the best reach. You also have a natural affinity for the earth.

1-2. I'm alive and unharmed? By the Stone!
I look to the dwarf steeping in. I'm alive my heart beats and my skin is flush. I thought for sure I was dead! Thank you for saving me brother!

[Hunted]
Best look over your shoulder every now and then. Bounty hunters will pursue you, unless you go through the trouble of hiding your identity they will come after you rather quickly.
You are starting in the wilds on the way to Britten. You’d best be careful, these woods aren’t like the ones back home.
I don't know if we're supposed to post yet, but everyone else is doing it and I'm an impatient arse.
I must continue down the road. As always, I will be looking about me for the agents of Breman, as well as possible prey. If someone comes along, I will dart off of the road and hide in the woods nearby.
1. Carry on my wayward son
2. Watch and listen for other travellers on the road, or prey.

>Serene
That’s weird, your weird. What kind of sane person wants to bone a Giant how would that even… Ah damnit now, I have that mental image stuck in my head. Thanks for that. Well if you want to woo the giant kind you will need to first become someone with standing in his kingdom, so stop flaunting your meagre skill trying to catch his eye and do something with yourself, maybe find out WHY your eyes are like that rather than try to make people stare at them.

Your eyes are weird, they always have been and you’re not sure why. What you do know is that occasionally when you’re in a pinch everything seems to slow down, this has helped you out of more than a few pinches.
Unfortunately most of the normal folk don’t have any idea what is up with your eyes. Some people think you’ve been cursed, others think it is a disease but most seem to just think your weird and leave it at that.
Alright so, at this time I don’t see it within the realm of possibility for me to keep up with so many players. I’ve delayed for too long trying to get around all of these updates but I cannot do it any longer. After adding Serene I will not be adding anyone else. I am sorry that you have all been waiting so long just to see this message but I just cannot keep up with 24 players.

>Fluff: Serene was always drawn to power. Whether to serve or lead, her pace kept her within arms reach of both. It was almost like destiny, fate, a need to get as much as she can. Growing up in Glorious Britten, the Giant King was her most obvious idol. She adored his rugged looks, his superior strength, and his wisdom. She fought her way from the bottom, training in any weapon she could get, whether physical or mentally to achieve her dream. She wishes nothing more now than to serve the Giant King in anything he wishes, even going far as to pierce her face and upper body to make her seem more intimidating and draw out her weird eyes even more so than before.
