Been playing guitar for a few weeks now, I think I'm getting the hang of it. I've played bass for years, but this is more difficult because there's very little room for error; I have to be much more precise as I don't have huge frets or big gaps between the strings anymore.

I don't think anyone has even made a character yet at least, I haven't. Still got no idea what to do, even after reading through anon's guide.
I know someone said to just focus on backstory and personality for now, but I've never done that in my life. I'm not even sure I'm capable of doing that, when I wrote short stories at school they were all self-inserts, and I did the same for any games I've ever played unless the game had it's own main character.

I'm off to bed, stayed up way too late. I've been looking more into creating a D&D character tonight and the last couple of days, and I've come to the conclusion that it's impossible without being handheld and spoonfed by a real person, rather than trying to read and understand a 320 page pdf alone.
Shit is way too vast, complex and complicated for my NEET brain to handle, trying to comprehend any of it gives me a headache. I swear, anyone that has learnt and understood this shit by themselves is wasting their time playing fantasy games, they should be out there putting their superior brains to good use instead.
