I currently reside in Canada. I'm looking to get into cryptocurrency, and maybe other stocks. I know it's not some get rich quick thing but I just need to make a bit of money in the long run. I currently have about $3000 CDN ($2385 USD) and I can use about $2000 of it to invest. I was thinking starting small (Like $100ish) to get a feel of the market, and go on there. The problem I'm having is I'm not old enough for the websites, and most require ID or a Visa/MasterCard. I only have a debit card that's linked to a bank account, and a paypal account. There's also no way in hell I'm trusting the websites with my ID. I'm looking for answers to a few questions now that I've explained my situation a bit.

1. What are the best websites to use that I would be able to (I tried coinbase, but unfortunately they no longer support linking bank accounts for Canadian users anymore), and am just looking for some other websites I would be able to use to invest on.

Basically a site that is

-Trustable

-Allows you to buy and sell cryptocurrencies

-Doesn't require an ID

-Can take paypal/bank accounts

-Preferably low fees (but it's alright if they're not INSANE)

2. What are some of the most valuable tips you've learned?

Anyways, help would be much appreciated, and thank you for your time.

Buy your bitcoins on a BTC ATM or from some guy from localbitcoins

then go to any exchange that will allow you to trade cryptos without ID verirfication (I think there are only KYC laws when you work with fiat money)

be greedy when people are panicking and panic when people are greedy

I use canadianbitcoins .. but kijiji is generally a good source (meet in person, outside a police station) but bitcoin ATMs are in many cities across the country so it's probably the best bet for the small amount you're looking to get.

>tips

When btc dumps, altcoins dump, buy into altcoins (well known ones) during this time and sell on recovery. DO NOT sell at a loss just because somethings down for a day. As long as you didn't buy at the top you're safe 90% of the time.
