Which, first of all, this is the worst promotional picture for a cookie I've seen yet. This thing looks like a moldy hubcap in this lighting. If I can look at this cookie in my seedy little NEEThole and have it look better than on a storefront, you need a new photoguy.

The second time. First was the same story at a different venue and partner. This time it was some cute plump asian girl who I'd never met before and am unlikely to meet again due to lesson dropout.

The way swing dancing works in the venues I go to is, X number of people show up to the lesson, everyone partners up and chooses to be either a leader or a follower. Then every pair aranges themselves into a circle. Throughout the lesson, leaders rotate while followers stay still, and that way each lead dances with every follower, each follower dances with every lead. After the lesson there is free dancing/socialising, and during this time people form pairs (or take a break) for the duration of a song. It's not like ballroom dancing where you have one permanent partner.

In the swing dancing venue I was looking around the room, sort of sizing up the girls, seeing which ones were hot. Since it was a university environment and swing dancing is full of leftists, a lot of girls were fat or had bad hair. But there was one Asian girl I noticed, round head coming up to my shoulders, who was curvy in all the right places and had a nice tight rack. She wore jean shorts and a colourful tshirt with her jacket tied around her waist. Her arms were shorter than mine but plumper all around. Because of the head everyone had worked up a bit of a sweat in the warmup, and when it came time to partner up I put my right hand on her back, she put her hand on my shoulder, and we held our free hands in the usual swing position. The bare skin contact up the side of my arm was pleasantly cool and there was just enough sweat on our bodies to add friction without making us slip around each other if we moved too much. My wrist was sandwiched between her arm and body as she found a comfortable position to rest her hand on my shoulder.

We introduced ourselves—her name was 'Magenta' as in the colour (???)—and got to dancing. I've been dancing for about a year, but she was new to the kind of swing dancing we were doing. She was quite excitable and bouncy as I led her through the basic steps. She stood close and when we raised our legs in sync they would sometimes bump. Her soft breast touched my ribs from time to time. When I looked down at her I could see traces of sunblock on her face.

After the lesson was over I asked her to dance once more. It was difficult to hear the music so we settled into doing the basic steps at our own pace. Occasionally I would do the move we had gone over in the class which involved guiding her through a spin to be positioned further away from me, linked only by my left hand holding her right, then back into the original 'closed' position. She continued to be energetic through this dance, always going through the moves faster than the tempo of the music. As she and I danced close we would step on each others' toes a bit. All part of the fun when teaching a cute girl to dance. I fed into her energy by taking bigger steps and going through wilder motions on the dance floor, and she was really into that, giggling all the way through. She would mess up the spin+return sometimes, where instead of putting her hand over my arm she would put her hand under it, settling her hand on my back and pulling me in a little closer. She would often shift around a bit, reposition, causing my hand on her back to move and me to pull her in a bit more. Sometimes instead of getting back into the closed position we ended up holding both of our hands together. I pulled her in and hugged her around her shoulders, feeling both of her lovely breasts against my front.

Sorry for lateness

I see. That reflects my usual mindset. I'll have to get more worldly experience in these things. I have been thinking about joining some kind of impro club to get better at bantering, thinking on the spot in social situations, relaxing my fear of judgement etc. and maybe then I will be more attractive to women.

The fear of judgement in particular is weird. My experience of it is disconnected in that it feels like a fear of nothing in particular and I have to infer that it must be a fear of social judgement based on me feeling it in X situation but not in Y situation, and how it prevents me from taking Z action but not W action. And I don't know why I can be open about anything on anonymous imageboards but not around normalfags. Why do I care what normalfags think when I can shrug off imageboard banter the same as anyone else here? I honestly don't know and it's frustrating as fuck.

Honestly mate I get that feel. When your life isn't where you want it to be it's easy to make slight exaggerations when there is no real consequences.

I don't really think there's any harm in it if it's a minor inconsequential lie (i.e. not ridiculous lying like fagneet did to get attention), but the underlying feeling of not being good enough is a poison

Hello m8s, cleanstove here. I've decided to stay and keep living with my sister for a while longer. I've organized to have nbn connected, the 30m drive to work and back nearly every day is pretty taxing with fuel, and I have to deal with fucking terrible traffic most of the time getting to work. I could catch public transport but it's too much of a fuck around when I can just drive. I've noticed I sometimes randomly get 620 ks out of a tank of fuel but I've been just getting 530 ks lately for some reason, my car displays how far each tank will get me on the dash. I've been going to United to fuel up each time. Putting unleaded 91 in it.

It's better, higher octane rating than regular 91 and it's cheaper. The only problems you might have is with older cars, ethanol is a solvent and might dislodge sediment in an old fuel tank and clog up the fuel filter, which can easily be replaced.

There is some other old goober out there shouting useless directions to him. I don't know why he bought that particular house. It isn't suitable for a boat at all. Yeah, that's what I said.

So it's up to the individual as to how much of the media they want to watch/listen to.

 No.27958

>>27870

I think the thing about history is that people nowadays think events unfold at a break-neck speed because they read historical events almost instantly. Take for example WWII 1939-1945. People read that and think WWII would end overnight but they can't really visual what six years of continental war actually looks. Not to mention the 20+ years of buildup that led up to it (or 50 years, whatever). Maybe it's because people live on a weekly paycheck so they don't really have the "brain skills" necessary to think in terms of years or generations.

I suppose what I'm trying to get at is that political events and life events in general take a long time to occur that don't fit in the 24-hour media-driven news cycle that we find ourselves in today. So don't be discouraged because things can improve sooner than you think (or get a lot worse). You also need to absolve yourself of this notion of "historical inevitability". Nothing is inevitable in the mortal world and people only think that because they're brainwashed and don't/can't think long-term.

They're just producing a product that the masses want. There's probably a nice medium where you can consume an appropriate amount of infotainment and have any sort of negative effect, same as alcohol or the internet or whatever and it's up to the individual to find that medium.

If you are a proponent for stamping out things that are "degenerate" or detrimental to society and civilisation then that's subjective and unenforceable really.

I think the greatest problem to the planet is overpopulation, I can't imagine how enforcing measures against that would play out, furthermore how much liberty and freedom are we all expected to give up so that the people that cant control themselves are wrapped in cotton wool?
