The NEET life continues to pay off!
I have the time, the energy and the motivation to strengthen body and mind beyond the wildest dreams of a wagie.
My physical strength and conditioning isn't anything exceptional but it's improving by the day. Today was back day and I managed to keep strict form during a 3pl8 rack pull for three sets of five, a personal best. But that's not all, my friends, because I also caught wagecuck's gf sneaking a glimpse of my ass mid-thrust during one of my warmup sets.
I've been reading each day and I can feel my concentration improving when I do. I've been writing for myself too, it helps me better understand myself and the world around me. It also allows me to better articulate myself when I speak to people IRL, which will help me when I feel I'm ready to reintegrate with society.
Slowly I'm curing the deficits caused by years of unenlightened NEET living: the poor posture, the Walter Mitty mindset, the lack of drive, the depression and anxiety of having no challenge against which to throw myself. My burdens are becoming not so heavy.
And, lest I toil day after day for tomorrow's NEET with not a consideration for the NEET of today, I treat myself when the day's work is done. I treat myself very nicely indeed.

It's fascinating to see the machinations of my younger brother's mind; he actually believes that anyone who inconveniences him deserves to be verbally abused, that anyone who disagrees with him in a conversation is responsible for what he does in response (usually just being nasty and hurtful but sometimes worse) and that asking him for assistance with something means he can behave however he likes while helping you. If you can believe it, this is actually the toned-down version: he's been placed in a supervisory role at his workplace and so naturally he enjoys intimidating and using his social capital as a long-standing employee to bully the teenagers beneath him.
As someone who's been bullied his entire life this is very interesting for a number of reasons:
+ I never believed that bullies truly felt entitled to conduct themselves like this. I always operated under the assumption that they simply enjoyed hurting others but knew they were imposing and being unreasonable. Apparently this is not the case.
+ Our mother is the single person who takes issue with him behaving like this, likely because he often directs his bullying at her when he's asked to fulfill one responsibility or another (ex. you will always be verbally abused upon telling him to stop falling asleep when he's looking after the children and nobody else is home) . At work he's considered to be a natural leader and he's well-liked by everyone he isn't victimizing at that precise moment. He's even liked by those people who he regularly humiliates for fun, which I don't understand.
+ He's a very physically attractive guy but women seem to be especially attracted to him when he's ordering around subordinates or bullying someone in a social situation.
This is all rather eye-opening for me. I'm interested to see what happens when he gets tired of ONSs and finds a long-term partner. what I mean is, the other day I wanted to buy a hard drive. so I looked up reviews on hard drives on Amazon, looked into hard drive failure rates among different manufacturers and models then compared the price of a few I was happy with. picked one, looked for a store in Au that would ship it, took into account that all that research may mean shit if I'm the unlucky cunt that gets the HDD that's DOA and bought it.
