Hello, Argentines. Hue here.

How is the economic situation there? Do you have any hope that it will improve in the next 5 years? What are your plans for the future if the situation does not improve?

 No.441856

>Do you have any hope that it will improve in the next 5 years?

nope

>What are your plans for the future if the situation does not improve?

Full dollarization, we did it before, we will do it again eventually

 No.441858

It's bad but hopefully Cristina Kirchner will win the election and things will improve.

>How is the economic situation there?

Fucking terrible. High taxes, a massive daddy-state, corruption, unemployment, inflation, etc.

>Do you have any hope that it will improve in the next 5 years?

I like to think that if Espert gets elected, his liberal policies will stabilize things a bit, but I get more pessimistic by the day.

>What are your plans for the future if the situation does not improve?

Suicide

Going to repost this, because the other thread died and this one is moving.

It's almost hell here and there's no hope for improvement. Our economy has been stagnated from 2011 to 2017, and it's very difficult to find a job if you are young and inexperienced (which is of course my case because I have been a lazy NEET for almost all of this time except for college), real wages have been falling for 4yrs now, and the cost of living is constantly raising. Maybe if you have an income in dollars like many foreign students must have it's not that bad, because it is almost sure that the country is still going to devaluate the currency a few times more after the election, to have a competitive type of exchange.

If several years of stagnation/recession wasn't enough, there's also not a single perspective of improvement whatsoever. We have a huge and unpayable debt, which cuts the possibility of any type of expansive fiscal policy that could generate some temporary growth. The interest rate are at crazy levels around 70%. To put it bluntly: the government simply can't enact any kind of expansionary policy. So we still have a few more years of recession. I don't know if our society is going to collapse like it did in 2001; that's kinda unpredictable. But at least in the technical aspect, there's no possibility of improvement.

What am I going to do? I don't know. I'm a useless faggot who only goes to college to avoid being forced to find a job. The only lifestyle I know it's browsing imageboards and wasting my time. So even though I, like many other anons here, have an european citizisenship, I really don't know if I could leave my parent's house, migrate to another country and make a living out there. That's kinda out of my capacities. So probably I'll keep browsing imageboards while this country collapses once more from my comfy room in my parent's house. The idea of playing vidya and talking with you fags while the country is a living hell is comfy as fuck to me, so I'll just stick to that.

Even if Espert got elected, we still have no way out of this. Cutting taxes is not a possibility when we are struggling to get zero fiscal deficit to pay the debt. Our fiscal policy is constrained by our obligations with our private creditors and the IMF, and it can only be contractive, never expansive.

>How is the economic situation there?

Top bad

>Do you have any hope that it will improve in the next 5 years?

Top no.

I can say with absolute certainty that even if it improves, it'll do so marginally and therefore irrelevantly.

>What are your plans for the future if the situation does not improve?

Getting away from here, obviously?

The problem with this country is that it's not providing absolutely any good reason to stay anymore. Even if you're more of a passion oriented person rather than money oriented, and could justify staying in a place with a precarious economic situation if you love the place, you'll find that there's nothing to love here. Similar landscapes exist in other places, and as for its people and society in general, you'll find them completely abhorrent. The culture has gotten completely subverted by globalization, there's no unique country identity anymore, the place will make you its enemy if you don't subject yourself to its very specific and incoherent social norms, there's no one to look up to, there's nothing to praise about the culture. I can say with confidence that there's no good reason to live here unless you're lucky enough to have found a niche where you're making good money here and live an easy and comfortable life (perhaps by political nepotism or other corrupted means).

As disencouraging as everything looks, this isn't the first time our country looks like absolute dog shit. The last 70 years or so have been an increasingly more depressing cycle of crisis after crisis (gee, wonder what happened some 70 years ago that turned one of the richest countries in the world into… this). We will survive, the question is whether we'll learn about our mistakes.

The answer is no.

I agree with you with the point that we'll survive, though. We'll just continue doing mediocrely and slightly shittily.
