What justification do you have for this belief?
Why does allowing gay couples to marry preclude, hinder, or discourage, straight couples from marrying? The only reason I could see why this would be the case is if they were bigoted.
There are many studies that suggest orphaned children are way more likely to be abused, neglected, grow up emotionally stunted and intellectually behind than children that are adopted by two loving parents.
And why wouldn't this be the case?
EVEN IF you think that gay couples are worse at child-rearing than straight couples, they are definitely not worse than the child growing up without loving parents at all.

I'd say most of these "he deserved to die" views would crop up in comment threads that belong *to* the memes that make fun of his death in a grotesquely comical way.
Second, I've said it before, but why should we respect a dead person when didn't deserve an ounce of respect while they were alive? The only respect the dead deserve is their wish regarding what should happen to their remains (or what shouldn't happen to their remains, I believe we don't have the right to harvest organs without previous consent).
Their relatives deserve a break to sort out their emotions. No more, no less.

Kind of depends on the severity of his crimes also. No one gave a fuck about hitler's or fritzl's families when celebrating their comeuppance. Or bin laden's. Are we to grieve? Hell no. Does it make us immature?
Okay, so, maybe it is a little immaturely worded? I think loafie hit the nail on the head in asking why his death is being given more attention than all those other gun victims dying random and callous deaths on the street. It's a measured response that you can't really criticize without making yourself look like a giant tool in the process.
