I've finished three Divine Beasts. After the Gerudo (the second Beast I did) said that the sword was left in a forest, I tracked that fucked down. I haven't used any online resource or tips for anything and managed to find full suits like the Barbarian, Rubber, Climber, and Zora just by exploring. I found the teleporter and a few of the other DLC items already by the same way: just roaming and seeing what areas looked promising on the map. I think I'm at 70 something Shrines completed.
It's just been refreshing for some reason.
I'll probably try Super Mario Odyssey once I've finished everything here.

It had the Wind Waker problem where it was easily a 9 but some of the design eccentricities end up marring it.
I wholeheartedly agree that there needed to be dungeons and actual bosses that were fought with something other than "use the sword, bow, or magnetic power to fight". The strongest enemies to fight just are painfully easy with Dark Souls-y fighting of just dodging for flurries.

The game just tried to be more than it needed to be.
Making a ton of systems but refining none.
Dowsing was stupiud because anything worth finding was in set locations like the hardy durians so you didn't need to use the function.
The slate was awkward to use in most situations.
Cook was nice, but you can just ham fist anything into your face and power through literally any fight that doesn't one hit kill you. Should have limited the amount you can eat. Like make Link full after a bit.
Ganon was kind of lack luster as well.
