This is being co-directed by Shinji Aramaki, the guy who did directed the Appleseed and Space Pirate Captain Harlock movies, and Kenj Kamiyama, the guy who directed the Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex series and movie. I had high hopes for this, and these two are now codirecting a 3DCG GitS. If this is the level of 3DCG they're going to be using for GitS, I'd rather them not make another stain on the franchise like Arise or GitS live action. Kamiyama being director won't save this if the show looks like ass anyways.

Actually sitting down and watching it, I gave up pretty quickly. Hate the exaggerated movements. If you wanna see CG anime done well then watch Land of the Lustrous or even the Godzilla trilogy. Both do a much better looking job than this.
Just stick to the manga for this one.
