why is most anime so boring? everything is either insufferable potato or a 14-year-old boy's actionwank worse than the transformers series, in both the shounen and seinen departments. even ecchi slice of life is unfunny and everything has (((minority))) or (((homosexual))) characters that aren't just gags. isn't there any anime that have substance anymore? i like cute things, i even prefer them, but i don't see why everything has to be a cream puff nothing-nothing with no story or direction.
