Which is your fave studio?

This is pretty cool.

Madhouse is traditionally my favorite studio but all the talent went to MAPPA and they're becoming my new favorite. Not there yet but give it a couple of years to build a catalog.

I like madhouse because they're willing to try weird stories (death billiards, kaiba, dennou coil), different artstyles (NGNL, kaiba, hells) and generally do them well.

Neat but god do these office plans look like hell on earth. Especially P.A. Works with that "trendy" open ceiling and blinding lights.. I don't understand how anybody can do creative work in those conditions without blowing their brains out.

Wasn't that the studio they mocked in Shirobako as a place staffed by overworked assholes that didn't give a shit and pumped out garbage?

I laugh at people thinking living in japan would be great

Think about it this way: in Japan that's a job people consider a dream job.

Probably on the same tier as a kid thinking game development is a dream job.

That makes little sense.

I like most of what Sunrise has put out, but I would never want to sit in any of those studios. I'm not a sardine.

>>76660

That "modern" type of office space has been shown in studies to raise productivity - people are more awake and since there is literally no separation between their neighbors and them, they can't do anything else. Like the Panopticon of offices.

Not 100% sure, but I'm fairly certain I've also seen a study showing it lowers worker satisfaction, but it's not like management gives a shit.

>>76675

It helps to not try to get into a job that a billion others dream of getting into, with little to no way to make a name for yourself and with qualitative rather than quantitative standards (they inevitably descend into "good enough", which means you get replaced with a 5 year old Pajeet).

I can guarantee you, the guys that graduated Todai's Law or business courses are sitting in quite a different kind of office.

Elaborate

 No.77023

Todai is pretty much Japan's premier university that everyone's trying to get in.

Keep in mind that in Japan, people that graduated from the same university hold together damn strongly, and it's become a thing that the term for that (Gakubatsu) explicitly includes Todai (Todaibatsu).

If you've graduated from there, you're going to get into pretty much any position you want, and law is the classic major for someone wanting to go into politics, with a business major (with another minor) being the classic upper management path.

So if you apply for a job and the boss is a todaifag and you are as well you are guarenteed a job?
