Since it's just anime, I will skip manga. The one that stands out the most is NHK ni Youkoso. I could write a huge list for this (maybe even include anime that made me cry just because of how awesome a scene was), but this stands out the most because it's the anime that made me cry the hardest and the most personal and unique case of that happening.
This specific occasion was in 2017 (I think). It was my third time watching (hadn't watched it in many years), drunker than fuck the whole time, out of my mind, becoming more and more conscious that I'm too fucked up to live with other humans and that I would never find a single person like me, so I would die alone, and after being a hikikomori for a year (no, that hasn't changed since then, and I had already been going in and out of that since 2011, my first year in college, and also when I dropped out after three months).
