Lin fully accepted being a vessel rather than struggle for dominance against Greed and the other souls within the stone, essentially making a pact with Greed that would enable them both to accomplish their goals, which the latter found amusing and allowed his soul to remain intact. Meanwhile Bradley fought for control against the wrath soul, and the resulting being in the end didn't even know which soul had won, only that it was alive. There's only two cases of human-to-humonculus transformation in the series, being both the above, and while Bradley does age, Lin does not seem to (though he's not in the story long enough for there to be much visible change, compared to Bradley's flashback). Such could well be a facet of Greed's stock homunculus regeneration factor. The acceptance versus struggle difference could be a facet, like the resultant being does not quite have the full abilities it should, but at the same time, with Bradley to play the role of a human king, a king that ages is less suspect than one who doesn't, so perhaps that was a trade off in even creating the Wrath stone in the first place: a puppet that could and would eventually grow old and die via inability to regenerate beyond what a normal human can do, but with enough stone granted enhancements to be nigh invincible in combat while alive. If you're going to be able to dodge or parry almost any incoming attack, there's very little benefit for regeneration. And even when he does get injured, he is still a force to be reckoned with.
