Pretty OK models and animations for a full 3DCG show but it still looks off from time to time. Will Oono ever speak or just continue with her [GRILL NOISES]?
No.35429
I'm not nuts about the CG but I like the 90s vidya theme and setting. The Japanese arcade scene of that time was really interesting. I really loved the games of that era. I actually grew up playing them on consoles unlike the faggot hipsters that just hoard these games for retro gaymer geek cred.
Hopefully the anon doing subs doesn't burn out, this show was nicer than I expected.

This. I really wasn't expecting anything, but it turned out to be a pretty fun time. Reminded me a lot of something like GameCenter CX with old games at comfy arcades. Definitely going to watch more.

This was one of the shows I was able to drop immediately. It is possibly the ugliest show this season and the MC's screaming was fucking painful. I guess people who actually had arcades in their town and visited them might like it and I won't begrudge them that, but I don't really see that it has any other appeal. I can't even stick around for qt grill coz she's just a mary sue whose shitty gimmick is that they forgot to hire a VA for her.

I think she speaks at least once. I don't know if the anime will even get to that part though. Regardless, she won't be doing a whole lot of talking. Unfortunately the series turns into relationship drama because they introduce another girl. I didn't read it for probably over a year though, so maybe it has changed since then. Then again, the anime likely wouldn't get that far in.

People like you are why anime is dying. If you keep lowering your standards every year and keep saying "it's okay" whenever anime starts to look even worse than it already did by now, it's only going to become more shit in the long run. People like you is why he had Berserk 2017.
To me, there's no such thing as "okay" when it comes to anime, there is good and bad and the fact that the creators of this show didn't even bother to make the show look presentable tells me enough about if I should watch it. I feel really bad for the mangaka who have to deal with their works getting these kind of garbage adaptions. The only CG anime I've ever seen that looked good was Gantz: O but that was a full-feature film, TV shows should just stick to 2D.

>Anime is dying because of jewery, not because of the opinions of some baka gaijin that pirate all that shit anyhow
I understand that the Japs don't care about the opinions of us foreigners but the fact that anime keeps getting worse every year probably means that the average Japanese anime viewer today has as much shit taste as that of the average western normalfag. So the issue is still people lowering standards, Japs are seeing that their viewerbase no longer cares about interesting concepts, visually engaging animation and well-written characters and only want badly-looking otaku pandering so that's exactly what they're shitting out.
The promotonial art for Satsuriku no Tenshi, the third highest ranked seasonal show on MAL right now looks like something made by a first-year art school student whose only prior experience with art was copying Naruto character designs. The Demon Lord one looks like someone tried to parody isekai cover art. I could say the same about most of these. It's just so fucking annoying to constantly see people say "it's okay, it looks bearable". Nigger, if "bearable" is the best you can say about it then there is no reason for you to be even watching that unless you're suffering from brain damage so severe that you can barely identify colors and shapes.
I just find this sheepish attitude of most anime fans eating up whatever the Nips shit out of their flat asses every season and then pretending that it's anything but shit so damn frustating. If you want to watch it, fine, but don't act like its creators did anything more than the lowest possible effort because that way you're just going to confuse people who still have standards.

Cool story but that doesn't make me any less right. You can view the problem from the mindset of a retard like yourself and lower your standards every year and pretend that anime's value is not decreasing at all or you can just see it for what its. You chose the first path, I chose the latter.
The 90s was when anime studios started becoming interested in making fanservice-centered shows and pander to otaku to an increasingly larger degree so those people weren't even wrong per se, it's just now that it's truly hitting its lowest points.

The adaptation directed by Yoshinobu Yamakawa (Kill Me Baby, Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?) was aired for 12 episodes from July 14 to September 29. this is bullshit and you know it
you know why CGI in anime looks so fucking terrible? because producers cut corners with 3DCG. if you've ever seen things created with effort using the "toon shader" method in Blender or other software you will immediately know that 3DCG anime has a ton of potential but never gets anywhere. why? because it's always been a background "cheat", never in the foreground or used for anything really major. why spend more money and time making background objects look nicer if they are, well, in the background? that tradition gets carried forward to fully 3DCG anime.
here's what 3DCG anime could look like if you actually got talented people to handle it: https://sketchfab.com/models/aa156afa6e974e8c9134cafa5bdb0f11

Despite being cheaply produced a lot of love went into the animation of Kemono Friends. There is little that is "impressive" but if you pay attention there are a lot of subtle details that convey the personalities of the friends. I rate it as a positive of 3DCG in good hands over 2D, as they were able to animate things that wouldn't be worth the effort/money traditionally.
