Just recently watched this series since I burned through all my mecha, all I have to ask is where has this show been all my life? Outside the OVA's artistic shift and tone somewhat (not to mention the Halo 2 tier ending) This is a pretty solid show. Shame that it's dead and the Seiyuu for Tylor passed away about 7 or so months ago.
Thoughts on this show?

The first episode is one of my single favorite anime episodes of all time. Dude flirts with an AI until it goes insane. The real question is, is he really just lazy and going with the flow and lucking into everything, or is he a secret genius that know's exactly what he's doing?
I never did get around to watching the OVA.

Oh I've had the whole thing downloaded for years. It's just in the backlog. I watched the first episode after finish the TV show and it was weird and offputting and I've never felt like picking it back up.

I've come to the conclusion that it's a bit of both where the guy does has some brains, but his actually "brilliance" constantly escapes him due to his lazy and carefree nature.
