If a mecha show is airing or something old caught my attention I'll watch an episode a week, but I'm more likely to marathon 5 episodes and put it down for a while.

Not much, i stick to a genre that unfortunately doesn't get a lot of anime adaptations, basically only the yearly anime (49-52 episodes, 2 movies) and 1-3 shows that i don't really watch because of how poorly animated or formulaic they are. Introduce characters, kill the cutest/best ones, form relationships between the survivors, kill them all except the protagonist and her lesbian lover. Barely any shows do something different, the latest one that did was based on a gag LN with a male protagonist that turns into a girl.
I fill the gap with manga, videogames and game center CX, i also watched high score girl last year.
