I don't remember this show at all, it's been too long and it didn't make much of an impact. I only remember this kid's gf was actually into his brother and he told her to fuck off and chased some ayy strange instead, which isn't really a depressing story since he grew out of his comfort zone of pseudo-NTR

The most fucked up thing was she wasn't even into his brother. She called everyone Takun, both brothers, the cat, the core device. She didn't really care about any of them, she just wanted anything to alleviate her loneliness. When they weren't around anymore, she'd find another Takun. Also, it's quite telling how fucked up she was that she used the core device for petty revenge. Ain't no love in her heart, she was always using Takun.

I never even heard the sequels came out till months later I figured that was a sign and never bothered. This shit was a definitive piece of my childhood and it will most likely only taint it.
