I both love and hate this about 8ch. I love it in that any niche interest can start their own board. I hate it in that most of 8chan is dead, empty boards.
It has, however, gotten me out of the habit of staying in my home board and not venturing out. It is also fun to try and guess users across boards (based on images posted, writing style, etc).
I love the free speech ethos here, even if it does invite some morally questionable content. To me though, that is simply the price we pay for free speech. We might not like everything everyone has to say all the time. As long as it can be kept to containment boards, this seems to be the most balanced, civil way of doing things in my eyes.
