Hekkin cutie! How much the crib run? I'm not much the wood worker but I've been thinking about ways to modify my own bed to be more crib like.
I also really like the giant plush stacking rings.
I've been slowly transforming my own room into a little girls room. I recently added a diffuser with a baby powder oil; and it smells really cute when I go to bed.
Forgive my obnoxious filtering, I just like it looking dreamy.

Yeah we thought about doing that, and it'd be great if you had a lot of people over and needed to tuck the rails away somewhere. We just leave our nursery up all the time though and close / lock the door to it if we ever need to hide that room. But most of our friends are littles and bigs so that's not very often. We did have a cable guy go in there though one time since that's where our internet box is though. He was very professional though and didn't say anything about it haha.
I've heard lots of people find great stuff at thrift stores, I never really have any luck there though. We're looking for a cute mobile for the crib now but it's so hard to find one that is a decent size and kinda matches the rest of the nursery. I really like baby loony tunes, but nursery stuff that's in decent shape is near impossible to come by. One of those, some bumpers to go around the edges, some crib toys, and a better sheet / blanket set and that crib would be perfect.
We're also talking about moving in the near future in order to give us a larger nursery, as it is now the crib and changing table take up a good majority of the room.

Yeah it was a pretty sweet deal and we get lots of use out of it so totally worth the buy. We made the pad to go on the changing table ourselves but had to buy the crib mattress (twin) and the mattress protector for it though (in case I leak sometimes at night) so that also added some to the cost.
I'll look into the diffuser for sure! I love walking into the nursery and being met by baby smell, lets me and everyone else know the room gets lots of use.

I'm probably in the minority but for me I guess: A nursery is a safe area to let go and be as little as I want without having to worry about a thing. More-so than the rest of the house. The nursery is a place to keep babies safe, occupied, and out of trouble while the CG is away doing other things. Most of the stuff in the nursery can't really be ruined by getting wet or leaked on and not much in there can be broken or hurt the baby. The size of the furniture and items in the nursery are a big thing for me as is the decor. It drives home that I'm small, like infantile objects and need to be cared for in a baby proof space since I can't be trusted to be by myself.
Like I can just be playing in the nursery while my Mommy is doing other things and then she can come in and check on me whenever, come in and play with me, listen to me over the baby monitor to make sure I'm okay. When she comes in and she thinks I need a change it's right up on the changing table. A place that makes it convenient for the CG to change loads of diapers with everything required to do so right in arms reach of the CG. Since I'm a helpless pants wetter / messer who doesn't know the state of their own diapers then I get put right back into a fresh new diaper so I don't ruin the floors or furniture (not that anyone should let babies on their furniture in the first place.) If I appear tired or cranky I just get plopped into the crib, a place where you can't really hurt yourself or do much but sleep or cuddle up with soft objects to rest while my CG monitors me from the baby monitor. If I leaked on my onesie then I have loads more I can be changed into in the same room as the changing table and things.
Like I said I'm probably in the minority for a lot of that stuff, and maybe went a little autistic in my explanation but that's the best I can describe why I find it fun.
Plus it's a good place to keep all your little gear and toys at which is always an awesome thing.

That adds a bit of restriction / control much like the rest of the nursery does. The CG can decide how much and when the baby needs to eat and the baby can't do much in the way of stopping the CG. It keeps the baby in one place and the CG can pretty much do whatever while the baby is safe in their high-chair.
There's also naughty corners and spanking areas and all that good stuff too if that's what you're into. After all it kinda is a power dynamic being CG/little.

It's the space penguin one. I like the elastic in the legs and stuff theyre great for making you cute and feeling little, but they shrink a little in the wash. So now I tend to get the ABU onesie wet around the leg cuffs more often than my other brand onesie. The elastic goes up into my thigh / diaper and causes small leaks.

I LOVE tykables onesie style, the fabric feels so nice and they can come with hoods and things, so I can hide or wrap up in them to be really cozy. Plus my Mommy loves how cute they make me and the strong snaps that are higher up on them makes diaper changes easier. No leaks or complaints with their products. Only thing I could say bad about them is price (but you pay for quality) and the thing used to tighten up the hood some tends to get in the way sometimes but they are good for chewing on if you don't have a paci nearby.
I REALLY want some tykables shortalls! They never have the style I want in stock though…like ever.

I got the Baby Powder Oil from amazon. They're usually around $6-$10, and you only tend to use a drop or two at a time.
It'll work in any sort of diffuser. I got a really nice one marked down at Marshall's. A discount retailer like that might be a good bet to find a high end one for dirt cheap.
If you have money to burn, look up nursery diffusers on amazon for some really cute shapes
