I would like to see mainstream companies make abdl products, but for sure this decision would hurt the company's image as fuck and the profit would be marginal.

The PR would be a disaster. We've made some steps in so far as DD/lg is nearly as mainstream as BDSM lately, but diapers are a step further.

However, I remember when Pampers released size 6+ and parents were freaking out, and now we're on size 8, so they do slowly seem to be scaling up. A couple sizes bigger might fit a normal adult

There probably are Employees of baby diaper companies involved financially in ABDL, just through shell companies.

The biggest problem is that ABDL diapers are marketed as ‘ABDL’ diapers. ABDLs don’t need that tag to know what they want. Just sell printed adult diapers alongside one another. No need to sell diapers as sex toys. Most ABDLs don’t like them marketed that way anyway

Diaper sales are already increasing for the aging population. This is exemplified in China. More and more I am seeing incontinence/diaper commercials targeted to 50+. A while back I did a series of shitposts on many of the boards here warning of our independence reduced and normalizing the fetish. They won't stop selling young children/baby diapers, but they will expand. Soon we will see the day we are trapped to this dependence. The propaganda will profusely reassure the bathroom is your chain and wearing your bathroom leads to a healthier and more productive life. Once we get machines that have the means and ability to clean 99% of objects including fabrics, decadence can truly proliferate. We could have automated caretakers, but let's be real, the next automated thing in the next 20 years will be something cleaning related and not heavily using artificial intelligence, merely executing commands. People making messes all they want with no worry to clean up. How long will they get dirty before they care? How long until they care to issue commands to cleanup? Yes the cleaning machines could autonomously clean up, but how fast could that get annoying publicly? Privately? Reducing usage of utensils, reducing usage of manners, etiquette, manual re-nforcement of hygiene. Being carefree, reducing thoughts of one self to upon the common. Imagine the friends, imagine the girl's night out, the gasses expelled, the messes made, the lack of care, the impotence encroached on independence, hands messy, hands squishing, hands feeling, no care to clean up, stain the clothes, smellier is better, not at first, but as time goes on, how much will smell matter? Pissing and shitting in bed not even in a diaper, regular clothes, not getting out, living on regular neetbucks, streaming entertainment, putting off the cleaning machine, suckling the machine at large, loving the tit, getting it all over the chin, all over the breasts and chest, letting it stain, letting it smell.

pissing and shitting without clothes also, onto bear ground, smearing on walls, smearing on tits, opening messy diapers with friends and smearing shit all over, squishing it. What's more likely to happen is diaper corporations ruining themselves to make biodegradable diapers, tbh. Aside from plastic bags, disposable diapers are the biggest thing I see ecofags complain about.

Almost all the baby wipes by major brands I see in store now are either unscented, or made from biodegradable materials. They're just not the same.

Diapers will go the same way. In Europe and Britcuckistan I could even seem them banning disposable diapers honestly. That'd include adult ones.

Nothing will make me more mad than ecocucks ruing my fucking fetish just as it becomes easy and accessible.

I imagine that a lot of abdl diaper companies would stop selling them as diapers or medical equipment or whatever and start selling them as novelty items to get around any ban. That being said, I have trouble imagining a ban happening any time soon. Plastic grocery bags are banned in a lot of places because the reusable alternatives are no less convenient.

Switching people from disposable diapers to cloth would be a major inconvenience and requires extra steps (washing, drying, etc) to be eco friendly. I’m sure plenty of people will try to ban disposables but it will be far more difficult than banning grocery bags or straws or whatever

 No.86649

It may not have to be an outright ban. They may raise taxes or use other methods to make disposable diapers less desirable.

For example, in parts of Britbongistan, trash is collected only once every 3 weeks, while recycling is collected every 2 weeks, with a separate collection for incontinence products. It's not such a leap to imagine them refusing to deal with diapers, perhaps even locating and fining people who still put diapers in with ordinary trash.

I don't think it's a good sign that many baby wipe manufacturers are making "natural fibre" wipes all of a sudden. I think it's an indicator that they may be looking info biodegradable diapers. As opposed to forcing everyone to switch to cloth like you imagine. Make no mistake, changing the material of diapers so heavily would absolutely change their quality. And if it spreads to ABDL diapers aspects of what people like about them, the feel, and the memory of their childhood will be ruined.

I don't think it's as simple as just selling them as a novelty rather than diapers if it's still the same product and still the same material.

I don't think this'll happen tomorrow, obviously, but I think it's something to be concerned about and definitely something to keep an eye on.

plastic bags have been the bane of ecofag's existence since the 1980s and they're only just now getting around to even putting a tax on them in some places. they're only outright banned in a handful of small countries/states/provinces, and some just put a tiny fee on them and are done with it.

the walmart and the dollar store in my town charge for bags, the gas station and the canadian tire don't. it's basically just up to the stores to put a tiny fucking tax on them that nobody cares about when you're buying $70 worth of bullshit

if we've made this little progress in 30 years i doubt diapers are going away any time soon

I don't know man. Britcuckistan banned plastic straws out of the blue. There's also the same small tax on plastic bags that's been around maybe 4 or 5 years but some places are already looking for more eco alternatives.

It's a snowball effect. Just because it took a long time to get where we are doesn't mean the next steps will also take a long time. I'd be extremely concerned that baby wipe manufacturers are moving towards lower quality biodegradable wipes. I've stockpiled 7 packs of my preferred wipes and intend to save even more. They're frequently on sale as of late and it makes me concerned they're clearing stock before discontinuing them. They're literally the only named brand wipe on the shelf that isn't unscented or biodegradable

Actually, diaper fetishism is the most viable choice for selling unnecessary diapers to grownups. Like >>84816 points out, it's nearly impossible to sell Kimberly Clarkes pseudo diapers as "mere underwear." Nobody buys the narrative that KCs products are "just underwear" rather than a euphemism for low quality pullups.

Now consider Pop Figures. It's a ploy to sell plastic toys to grow adults by presenting then as collectable bugman frivolities. So how do you sell diapers to adults? Make them cute ironic fashion statements, like princess pullups for college aged girls. Then they become not a necessity, but a desirable commodity. If diapers were sold to adults as cute or cheeky products, especially for women, then they wouldnt be imploring the customer to engage in the cognitive dissonance of pretending it's not a diaper. So the best strategy going forward for Depends would be to sell ABDL diapers to college girls. That's my conclusion.

That's what a lot of medical supply companies have realized already. From producers who still maintain a non-ABDL image like Northshore with its Megamax model, to those who went all-out ABDL like Rearz (who started out only selling cloth diapers), and distributors like Agecomfort who are now selling ABDL brands and models alongside "medical" brands. Basically, diaper companies are slowly realizing that there is a lot of demand for "premium" diapers, which they can sell with a very decent profit margin. Even clothing companies like LittleKeeperSleeper and All-In-One have realized they were selling their products to a different type of customers than they originally intended and have adjusted their product line to supply the demand. Now if we could simply get rid of the cringe factor inevitably associated with people imposing their fetish on unwilling people in public and also get everyone to understand that ABDLs aren't synonymous with pedos (even if there obviously are pedo ABDLs… KYS guys, please), who knows, maybe P&G and KC will eventually bless us with an adult version of their baby diapers.

Companies are caving to SJW activism all the time. If we can document how one of these attacks work we can do something along the lines of transgender incontinence and not being supportive of diapered people is transphobic or something like that. You can't completely fabricate something like that, it has to already be part of the SJW talking point list.

There actually is a problem with trans incontinence after sex reassignment surgery but diapers aren't the solution because of the gaping wound in their crotch.

Look if you really want to do this, you're getting ahead of yourself. BDSM shit is already widespread in pride parades. Theres your in. You need to work through the fetishes all being more widely accepted until you reach ABDL. It'll probably take 3 to 5 years
