I used to have a very open fetish friend who was into tabletop RPGs a lot. We had fun creating spells and magic items that would fit our respective kinks into a classic game (at the time, it was D&D 3.5). I recently found our old file and some of them were kind of fun:

>Floof

>When cast on a protective garment, this spells increase its size by doubling the amount of padding. This will usually make the garment quite puffed and unweildy, but also doubles its absorbency. This spell can be cast several times on the same garment, doubling its padding each time.

>Incoherent Babble

>The target of this spell becomes unable to speak coherently, producing instead slurred speech and babbling vaguely ressembling baby speak. It makes very difficult for others to understand them or take them seriously while under this spell. Effects last for one hour.

>Curse of Dependency

>This spell targets two separate beings, one "master" and one "slave". Whenever the "master" urinate or defecate, the "slave" will do so as well without being able to resist. They will continue to do so, even if their bladder or stomach are empty, for as long as the master does, the spell creating more matter if required. Only the master may decide to willingly end this curse.

For extra cruelty points, turn an actual toddler into the master.

And one item:

>This pacifier is large enough to fit into an adult mouth, and decorated with s subtle padlock motif. Once inserted, it makes talking almost impossible for the recipient, and prevent aggressive gestures like biting or spitting. Only the person who has inserted the Pacifier of Time-Out into a mouth may remove it, and no other force (neither subtle nor blunt) will be enough to do so. If a person puts the Pacifier into their own mouth, they are free to remove it freely.

I've always wondered the application of abdl themes in an RPG fantasy setting. I'm glad to see at least somewhere it's an actual thing. Not nessiserly what you have however in my case my two text based RolePlay characters/story characters are "cursed" with a spell that stops their progression of time. Being forzen in time as 3 year-ish olds. Technicality being 300 hundred some years old due to there particular speices. (Manaketes from Fire Eblem). They both wear a magical cloth diaper that whisks their waste away to a predeterminated location.

Erotic roleplay (ERP) is a thing, and in some places it's played with normal rules from whatever game, just with more kinks. Never had the luck to participate in one that was accepting of ABDL themes, though.

But as you said, it's also a good stepping stone for stories and ideas to develop later.

Curse of Adult Interference:

Prevents you from undoing things others do for you. They tie your shoes, you can't untie them. Someone dresses you and now you can't undress yourself. Get buckled into the car, can't unbuckle. They pop a paci in your mouth, quiet time for you.

Curse of being Unhelpfully Helpfull:

You feel the need to help others more than usually, unfortunately this need is strongest when you can't actually be helpful. Increase in general clumsiness.

Curse of the Trouble Maker:

People in authority (parents, teachers, baby sitters, etc) tend to view your actions in the worst light possible and often see you as being naughty. Higher likelyhood of receiving punishments that weren't deserved or disproportionate to the crime, also more likely for said punishments to be childish in nature.

Curse of the Kid's Menu:

Any food not targeted at children is repulsive to your taste buds.

Curse of the Princess Obsession:

Gain an obsession with all things princess… watching Disney princess movies, dressing up in princess costumes, wearing princess themed clothing, and dressing with much more flounce and frill, in skirts and dresses of bright blues, yellows, purples, and pinks.

Curse of the Bag of Spilling:

You're suddenly far more likely to forget and lose personal belongings everywhere. People often know where you've been based on things you've left behind.

Curse of no Restraint:

See a big red button, how could you not push it? Something shiny or colorful, it must be touched! No store may be left without your hands all over every item on display. Urge is increased exponentially if told not to touch something.

Nice thread. I've thought about this quite a lot, albeit mainly for use in stories rather than games. These spells/items are just examples incorporating the various ideas I've had. Lots of other combinations are possible.

Curse of the Soothing Thumb:

>The target feels a slight desire to suck on a pacifier or, if one isn't available, their thumb. Resisting this desire is easy but has consequences. After a few minutes of not sucking anything their bottom will begin to feel slightly sore as if they had just been lightly spanked. The longer they resist the urge, the more painful it will become. Once they give in and suck their pacifier/thumb they feel immediate relief from the pain, but they must continue to suck for at least a few minutes in order to reset the pain level. If they stop sucking before then, the pain returns in full.

Wiper no wiping:

>The target is no longer able to wipe their own bottom. Attempting to do so will result in temporary confusion and loss of coordination, making the task almost impossible.

Cursed Training Panties:

>A cute pair of padded training panties which look like they're sized to fit an older child or small adult. Once a person puts them on, the curse activates and they can no longer pull the training panties down. Other people can freely remove them, but the wearer can only do so once they have wet or soiled themselves.

Proximity Pottying

>The target is unaffected until they come within 5 paces of a toilet. At that point their bladder and bowel control begins to rapidly decline and they are rendered completely incontinent within 10 seconds. During this time they feel an intense sensation of urgency and desperation. After leaving the vicinity of the toilet, their continence returns to normal.

Tantalus' Tempting Toilet:

>Aside from the "out of order" sign on the door it looks like a normal toilet and can be used like one. However, as soon as you go to leave you will find your bladder and bowels magically refilled leaving you even more desperate than when you first arrived.

Pottymouth:

>This curse affects the target whenever they attempt to communicate their desire to use the potty. Instead of saying what they wanted to say, they instead say something embarrassingly childish or inappropriate. They only become aware of their error after it has happened. If asked directly, the target is compelled to deny any need to go potty.

Cursed Doll:

>It's one of those potty training dolls which can pee. When some unfortunate soul picks it up they become infatuated with it and feel an intense desire to carry it around with them. Whenever the person needs to use the potty, they'll become convinced that the doll needs to go more urgently. If they fail a willpower saving throw they'll sit the doll on the potty to pee while having an accident in their own pants. The only way to break the curse is to go 24 hours without any accidents.

Voodoo Cup:

>A ritual which can be performed using any drinking vessel (or other liquid container) and a piece of the target's hair. It magically links the cup to the target's bladder so that filling the cup fills their bladder. If any liquid leaves the cup, whether intentionally or unintentionally, the target will immediately pee a proportionate amount. No matter what liquid the cup is filled with, the target's bladder will fill with their own urine.

I really like this one. I actually had a similar idea involving a pair of twins who ended up magically linked in such a way that if if either of them were to pee/poop, they both would.

Or alternatively, link them such that A controls B's bladder/bowels and vice versa. Either way they'd have to coordinate potty trips to avoid embarrassing accidents.

Release and Mass Release

>A spell that forces an accident on The Defender by releasing contents of bladder and bowel. Defender must make perception or will power save or supper an accident, either on critical success attack or failure save on the attacker or Defender respectively, everybody(just the one person if it's a critical failure) affected sufferers 1d8 day of incontinence. Mass release affect everyone within earshot (including the caster),so if you see your mage cover up their ears you should do the same or have a surprise in your pants. Your choice! ;)

Vampiric Bow

I've always been fascinated by the idea of classic tabletop games and fetish content, and I really like what few videogames there are out there for the level of interaction vs. mechanics they allow. You're working within a framework.

The way I see it, there are two core ways you could go about this. You could use a low-resolution system and have it all be done by narrative, the problem is that none of the low-resolution systems I know of would be a very good fit, you might as well run freeform because there's no mechanics could interact with diapers in any meaningful way.

If you don't want to just run freeform (I don't), the other option would be something high resolution, D&D 3.5 would be a decent fit I suppose, but due to it's level of abstraction and heavy focus on combat I don't think it's your best pick. What mechanical effects does a diaper have in D&D? Mittens? A pacifier? How is things like regression handled?

Basically, there's not a huge deal of D&D mechanics you could tie the new mechanics to, so it'd be D&D with diapers on the side.

Maybe something generic as a base? That way you'd have an easier time integrating mechanics. FATE, GURPS, Savage Worlds…

It's not exactly a spell or magic item, but I've been thinking about various SCP-style settings for ABDL content. I particularly like the ones which are an effectively infinite building or network of connected rooms, eg. http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-3008 or http://www.scp-wiki.net/scp-184

For example, consider a structure which is basically an infinite, ever-changing maze of rooms and corridors connected by doors. Closing any door allows what's on the other side to change, altering the layout and appearance of rooms. There's no particular logic to the connections and they don't even follow the laws of Euclidian geometry.

The twist is that the deeper you go, the more frequently you will encounter rooms designed for younger kids. Children's bedrooms, nurseries, kindergarten classrooms, etc. will all appear with increasing regularity. At the same time, "adult" spaces become rarer. Fresh food and water aren't hard to come by as long as you keep moving, but toilets soon become uncomfortably scarce. Plastic potties can be found in some of the rooms, but eventually even those become a rare find, replaced by plentiful supplies of diapers.

I've never considered the idea of a truly infinite scenario, but often D&D style dungeons with beginnings, challenges to overcome, and eventually an end. The very concept of something like this being infinite scares me, that's a bit… a bit much, I guess.

Magic curses that transforms your equipment to babyish counterparts, traps and enemies that diaper adventurers who get caught, challenges that grow increasingly more childish as you near the end, perhaps starting out with your regular balancing across a rope (over a pit filled with something… idk, baby powder? diapers?) but eventually turning into putting the correctly shaped blocks into the correctly shaped holes (which still isn't all that easy to do when your plate gauntlets have transformed into locking mittens and the frilly dress you're wearing is seriously hampering arm mobility)

Diapered Pathfinder (DnD)

Incontinence

Continence is measured on a scale from 0 to 100

If the result is equal to or less than their current continence that is considered a success, otherwise it's a failure.

Continence is divided into tiers that indicate how much stress has built up and how it affects the character and/or their stress induced incontinence.

If one has taken their own level of continence, that number may not be increased past its original starting number unless they undergo 'Potty Training'.

The max continence your character can choose is whichever is lower of con x10 or MA x2.

You CAN roll your own custom number through this formula however: Continence = (10 x Constitution) - (5 x (Highest stat - Lowest stat)

If you're feeling bold, go ahead and just roll a pure 1d100, then take that number. You may reroll that number once, but must take the 2nd result.

Tier 1 80-99

At this tier, your character is considered fully potty trained.

Any character with a constitution score of 10 or more has no problems with holding it for the bathroom

If a character has 9 or less constitution they can hold it for that many hours before becoming Desperate

Tier 2 60-79

At the start of the day, and whenever the character voids themself, roll 1d8 and add their con mod.

They can hold it that many hours before becoming desperate. If the result is negative it results in the same as a Nat 1.

Bedwetters roll 1d8+CON mod until passing a total of 8.

Tier 3 40-59

At the start of the day, and whenever the character voids themself, roll 1d4 and add their con mod.

They can hold it that many hours before becoming desperate. If the result is negative it results in the same as a Nat 1.

Bedwetters roll 1d4+CON mod until passing a total of 8.

The character can hold it for 1 hour before becoming desperate. -10 to desperation rolls

Tier 5 less than 19

The GM makes a secret roll every hour; The player may only find out the result if another person in the party checks their underwear.

Bedwetters roll 8 times in secret.

Desperation

If they succeed, they get a stacking desperation tick, which adds a cumulative -1 to attack rolls, saves and skill checks, until they have relieved themselves.

If they fail, check the corresponding chart below to see what happens.

If they roll a nat 1, roll a 1d5 on the corresponding chart to see what happens.

Dribbling does not count as having relieved oneself.

Making it Potty

For any tiers above 5, you can use the potty like a big kid. Once your hour count is 1 or 2(Not counting rolling that. If 2, you must go to the bathroom at 1 count. If 1, you must wait until the desperation check.) Once you get to the potty, roll your desperation die. If the result is lower than your continence, you've successfully made it potty. Roll on the accident chart to determine what you did, and increase your continence by 1,2,3, or 4 for peeing, pooping, both or the almighty Huge Potty Problem respectively. If you roll higher, you can't tell that you have to go potty, and must go about your day until the continence check.

Bedwetting

At the beginning of the day, roll 1d100. If the result is higher than your current continence, it counts as a minor dribble. From there, 25 - 49 is bedwetting, 50 - 74 is bedmessing, 75-99 is completely soiling, and the almighty 100, which requires new pants, sheets, bed, and therapy.

Conditions

Fear soiling

If one fails a fear related will save, roll continence depending on severity of fear effect. In order, `Shaken, Frightened, Panicking and Cowering cause a -10/-20/-30/-40 to the desperation roll.

Paralysis

If already desperate, roll on the accident chart. If not, no effect.

Sleep/Unconscious

Roll your usual bedwetting die once, then again every 8 hours of induced sleep. Unconscious rolls for accident if desperate, or bedwetting once if not.

Poison

Poison is variable, with it either damaging continence, CON or simply causing your muscles to spasm, causing an accident roll.

Fatigued/Exhausted

Causes -10/-20 to continence rolls while asleep, and -6/-11 while awake.

Sickened/Nauseated

Causes -2/-4 to accident rolls while awake, -10/-20 to bedwetting rolls while sleeping.

Confusion

Causes desperation roll if confusion hits in the 26-50 range.

Potty Training

What's that? Wanna be a big kid? You fun wrecker you.

Any character with less than tier 1 continence may undergo Potty Training,

A character may potty train themselves, or ask for help from another, more mature individual. They're limited to a max continence number of their MAx2.

For every time you 'make it', add 1 to your continence + however many desperation ticks you may have acquired.

Pull-ups really shine here, as if you have an accident in one but still managed to hold it for a bit, take the number of ticks, halve it and round down, then add to your score. Any number less than one is rounded up to one.

If you're potty training in diapers, when you stand in front of the potty, you have one last continence roll to hold it while you undo your tapes and whatnot. Pull-ups negate the roll entirely.

Wetting Penalty

Characters lose 1d4 Continence

Fill capacity 1

Messing Penalty

Characters lose 2d3+1 Continence

-5 Speed

Max dex bonus -1

Fill capacity 2

Rash Penalty

When rash sets in take 1d4 nonlethal damage and every hour that you don't change, take another 1d4 nonlethal.

As long as you have any nonlethal damage in this way you have -1 to fortitude saves

If at any time the wearer of underwear is submerged in water without an appropriate diaper or cover, add capacity equal to it's max capacity

Doubling up

If people REALLY need to, then one may take 2 of their diapers and put them together, one over the other. If prepared correctly, the first diaper will hold its capacity, but the diaper put over it will grant an extra capacity of half that diaper's normal capacity rounded up. If prepared incorrectly, the first diaper will hold its capacity, but the diaper over it will only hold an extra 2 capacity, regardless of diaper type.

Mental Age is a 0-100 scale representing the 'maturity' of an individual

0 represents borderline infancy, while 100 represents an overbearing mother-type figure. 50 is the average, natural adult.

Explicitly tied to Continence, if one constantly soils their pants, it'll lean them ever so slightly towards being more child-like in nature. Likewise, a person who can hold themselves like a 'big girl' and make it potty gain adulthood.

True to reverse, those who have lower MA have less continence. Those with more have higher continence.

Every level of maturity gets different disciplines; Exploit those points to choose your path

For every 10 points under 50, a character adds -1 to their potty rolls.

For every 10 points above 50, a character adds 1 to their hour count before desperation.

MA is found out by multiplying the character's current Wisdom by 5, or can be picked during character creation.

Having read through it a couple of times I do feel some aspects are a bit vague and left up to GM discretion. For instance, there's no guidance on when to make accident/fussy/etc checks. I guess some GMs prefer that though.

Personally, I hate the elements system, and I'm working on a way to remove it from the entire thing. It may work better if a group sits down and plays, because players can say just about anything that relates to their powers and have the GM decide if that thing works or not, but that wouldn't really work if it's just me at the table. Plus, I find the whole weakness of certain elements in two different wheels, not counting the Modern element which is separate from anything else, a little too much. I'd like tokens or a tattoo or something be the element, and the player with the element could use a power relating to that element, either one on the elements table currently, or one I'll make up.

Plus, I really don't like the magical thing with it. I'm making a story that turns it into more of a sci-fi superhero thing, where a supervillain is building weapons to enslave the population by using their dreams, something that the Players aren't affected by. This also helps explain The Nursery, which will be their HQ.

The other thing I'm adding is that boys can still be boys when they transform, something I chuckled at when I first read it. I have a character who is a football player, and when he transforms, he turns into a girly cheerleader costume. Still a "magical girl", but is still has a guy.

I'm sure I'll find some other things I need to change while I set it up, but that's what I've found so far.

I don't mind the elements system, but I'd be tempted to try and pin down some specific spells and abilities they have. You're right that it's too vague for now.

I also didn't see any penalty to discourage the players from transforming and then changing back into normal clothes while transformed. The magical girl outfits must surely be removable to allow diaper changes.

I love the concept behind the system, so I'm really tempted to try and patch it up a bit with more detail and completeness.

If nothing else I'd like to add a few more rules around bathroom use and the effects of decreasing maturity. Despite what the flavor text says, there doesn't seem to be any mechanical difference in continence between normal and transformed characters.

I have some ideas for a campaign setting with a kind of magitech theme too. The basic elements would all come from sci-fi, but with a big dose of Clarke's Third Law and a bit of high-fantasy terminology. Think magical girls getting involved in Special Circumstances shenanigans.

I’d love to see this system polished and released! I’m sure there has to be a way to make a single player tabletop adaptation (I recall a Fallout Boardgame existing that is single player. Something I've realized in thinking about RPGs on this subject (honestly I just use them to write stories, but they are an interesting thought exercise) is that I can't really think of a lot of 'enemies'.

The caretaker trying to mentally regress you is a pretty common theme in these kinds of ideas, but it can't be the only one.

I think it's better not to overdo the babying theme too much. Most of the quests and enemies should be normal, or at least not overtly fetishy. The fetish content comes from the fact that half the PCs are diapered and the game mechanics could force them to have accidents at any moment. If you want to add to the protagonists' humiliation, just let some of their friends or family find out about their predicament.

If I was running a magical girl game I'd have the players receive their magical abilities from a perverted caretaker-type character in the first session. In general magic would always take some kind of physical toll on anyone who tried to master it but the nature of that toll could vary from person to person. For the players it would manifest as a gradual loss of maturity. The caretaker would either choose them because they were already predisposed to have that kind of magical side effect, or would have the ability to influence the nature of the side effects.

Depends on tone, obviously, but I think for the most part I agree with you.

My own thoughts on the matter (I wrote this for the FATE RP system, but honestly you could use it for anything with some adjustments and consideration)

Normal(ish) RPG with ABDL elements

Universe is basically normal, but there are ABDL elements. Maybe all wizards are incontinent, or the ritual that the Spellswords of Neresa do requires them to use pacifiers? Either way, this requires the least modification. ABDL is sort of a side note. Some logic is probably glossed over.

ABDL Heavy (Non-Normalized)

Universe is abnormal, but ABDL elements are not normal to the inhabitants. An example of this is the Momsterous RPG where all of the PCs are magical girls who have problems with their continence. There may be elements of mental regression, loss of control, or even physical regression. Aside from new failure conditions, and new ideas for consequences, concessions, and results of being 'taken out', this is also pretty vanilla.

Prisoner (ABDL Heavy, but honestly could work in other circumstances.)

The players are prisoners, either legally or otherwise, and are at the mercy of a carer who functions as the primary adversary. Defeat conditions range from being regressed to simply being contained. Works best as fetish play, most likely. While losing can be fun even in the most serious of games, this is a game mode where losing may actually be the goal, since the enemy faction has big advantages.

The game rules can almost work unmodified (though modifying the combat skills to function as one skill instead of two is advised in games where combat won't be as important), though I have a few suggestions for modifications.
