I feel inclined to agree with you. Traditionally, men tend to have more power in relationships outside of the realm of sex. However, when it comes to sex, a lot more emphasis seems to be placed on the man pleasing the woman. Maybe I have a gender bias given that I'm male, but women traditionally have a power over sex that gives them a foothold of control over it.
