Sorry, but no. Most of my experience is in roleplays. My current story is a still a work in progress, and casting is just a tiny excerpt, but if I finish it in the near future I'll definitely repost it here.

I like the idea of a cast causing partial mobility and causing issues getting to the bathroom, and so diapers are added into the mix "just in case" (of course that happens eventually)

Fun fact: When I was in 4th grade, 10 years old, and a kid in my class broke his arm and was in a cast. He went to the bathroom at one point, and I happened to go at the same time, and when he got in there and walked up to the urinal and stopped. He stood there for a second, then tried fiddling with the zipper with his left hand for a second, but couldnt get it undone. He kind of laughed nervously and walked back out. One story that’s been floating around in my head is written from the perspective of a government investigator sent to check out reports of abuse and neglect at some kind of high class care facility. They offer the investigator a bribe that is refused and as the investigator tries to leave they’re drugged and knocked out. The investigator then becomes a patient/subject to the staff’s abuses and theyre kept in the casts until their arms and legs atrophy and they can crawl but no longer walk. Then something about them being trapped in the facility fighting/trying to run (and failing) until they’re broken and accept their fate.

Apparently there is something called "Spina biffidea" or something like that. Its some sort of medical condition that requires a lower body cast to correct or something form what I can tell? A lot of the people in said casts are in diapers. Unfortunately, I mostly see that in kids, so it doesnt really do anything for me. medicalfag here. Spina bifida is a not-too-rare congenital defect where the bottom of your spine doesn't quite fuse as much as it should. There are different variations on it, where some layers fuse and others don't. With some of the worst cases, the spinal cord itself gets damaged, and so any nerves that come off the spinal cord at that level or lower can be damaged and non-functional.
