I kind of have to agree with >>936835 here. Other than Tejina Senpai there's nothing that I have any expectations for this season, and even that based on how Ueno-san and Bocchi turned out I fear might continue the trend of good manga being adapted into worse anime. I'll probably try everything and hopefully there'll be some pleasant surprises. I'm kind of amazed by Japan's ability to still produce completely generic isekai anime with a straight face.

They rushed through world war 3. It was just random magic attacks with mostly skipped character arcs or even explanation for what was happening. You are better off not watching it.

Even having read most of it it's was treated so superficially it was confusing. I can't imagine anyone that watched it and didn't read the book lasting more than a couple of episodes.

Making more money for very low costs. Some of the mare alright. It also makes sense if a movie continues the series, like Madoka or Made in Abyss, so people can go see the movie without having to watch the series first.

Isn't it largely a way for people who missed the show while it was airing to see it in a way cheaper than acquiring the BDs?

For us we always pirate everything anyway so it makes no difference, but for the nips, unless streaming is more prevalent than I thought, it's hard to affordably see a series like FAG after it airs.

Never thought about this before. I guess it would be cheapest to pay for cable and record everything compared to buying BDs for a title you may not even like.

Vinland Saga, Danberu, Devil Loli, Dugong Dudes, Takagi 2, Enn Enn sound like the ones I'm more interested in. There seems to be other ones that might be interesting to watch with /a/, though I'm a bit sad that there's no CGDCT this season. I hope devil Loli gives my weekly dose of diabetes.
