A bit of news.
First off, an announcement from the Queen of /a/kihabara. Momoi Haruko will be doing a small tour to promote a new song under the brand new Anison USA record label. To be clear, this is the debut record for the label. Usually when otaku products try to branch out to the West like this, they are given a lukewarm reception and ultimately fail, so if you're in the area, please support it by showing up. The tour will include a Tokyo live, and two lives in CA. One in San Jose on August 30, and the other in LA on September 1st. Of course, I will be driving down the state line alongside her.
This whole project's aim is to shorten the gap between Japanese and Western eventing. The song's name is OTAKUNAJIMI, written by Momoi to express the idea that Otaku around the world are found to be as close as childhood friends.

Aqours will be coming to Anime Expo again this year, following the release of The LL Sunshine movie. Tickets went on sale just today for the general public and they are practically all sold out already. Because I'm only planning one trip to CA this year, I'm not going to see them this time, so I chose not to get a ticket.
There's also a camrip of the movie available on Nyaa to download. It's pretty good quality for anyone who wants to grab that.
Dempagumi.inc has a new MV out. It's the first one featuring the two new members, Perorin and Nemo, and without Nemu or Moga, the two who retired.

As written in the News Thread, NEO JAPONISM unfortunately disbanded following three out of the five members going through a scandal concerning sexual relations. The remaining two girls put on one last live and it's one of their best.

What has everyone been into lately? What do you think the Reiwa idol scene is going to be like? Did anyone watch the Sunshine camrip yet?
I hear Wa-Suta had a good event in Vancouver recently.
