You're wrong. First of all, nobody likes idols. Even in Japan, it's only otaku. And especially in the Western world, it's only the most hardcore. It would be stupid to think a record label would have any amount of success. What I mean when I say please support is show them the actual level of fans in the States, and show them it's not a total waste of time to have lives or sell things themselves instead of going through the shoddy localization companies. This could lead to more accessible mech that actually supports the artists we like all across the board.

Secondly, this is eventing. Wotagei, Anikura. In many cases, idols aren't even present. They just want to spread akiba-kei to the otaku who can't experience it more than once a year themselves by flying to Japan. It's only the most hardcore who are into this stuff so how this leads to Jews raping girls is beyond me. Please stop talking out your ass and go back to /pol/.

It isn't completely true. There are plenty of people who casually listen to idols, at least some of their songs, without even knowing their faces. But only a minority of hardcore fans are actually a part of idol-following culture. Anime is the same really, There are plenty of those who used watch Dragon Ball when it still was a thing, but only a minority are hardcore anime fans with 70+ anime under their belts.

Sorry, I am a bit sleepy and slow on mind now. I actually remember it being 400+ anime and half a year read-only, the first one being a part of elitist and snobbish immune system, that scared away people who came for approval, and the second one being a part Internet etiquette, long-lost, sadly. Yes, these are live shows by Momoi Haruko.

But these shows are a way to promote the eventing akiba-kei culture in the states, which includes Anikura, DJ, etc. that might not even have an idol. The first live show in San Jose takes place in a bar which often has anisong cover bands, or just plays anisong, for example. This is called Anikura and frequenting stuff like this is called eventing. It's a distinct Akiba-kei culture. You may know of MOGRA, which is a famous Anikura bar in Akiba.

I mean, there's all the types of Mix, and general Yakkai activities dependent on the show itself. Like breaking Kanon Rail during Happy Party Train or what have you, but this was all done back in Heisei. Wotagei is an ever-evolving thing.
