Take To Love Ru for instance, where the girls indeed fawn over MC, but they have their reasons for doing so, even if they're bad reasons. Here with her in DxD and other characteristic bad harems, not even the bad reasons are present, MC just has a passive aura activated that make girls fall for him. That's called bad writing and te author showing himself driving the plot.

Nah, they're not all best girls.
And there's not only girls there, there's a boy.
I would say only Yakumo and Hinagiku there are undeniable best girls.
But even then, Yakumo was competing with Eri, and Eri is better - so much better that we have a whole archetype of characters spawning from here, such as Eriri from Saekano.
Hinagiku is so much of a best girl that author-san dedicated Tonikaku Kawaii to an alternate version of her.
