 No.913928

Was announced back in January, but now we get a sneak peek to what the animation quality might look like when it airs in July. Hopefully Doga Kobo do a good job animating Hibiki's hijinks.

 No.913933

Looks alright, better than I would have expected. NIce ab details.

Can't wait for all the fitness-gurus to show up in the threads.

I had no idea, so this is a very nice surprise. I still think it isn't good enough to warrant an anime, but I'm not complaining by any means.

There's only like one girl in the series with any muscle definition and that's because she's a boxer and has to stay at a very low BF%. I think you should work your own trauma out before posting on /a/.

I wonder if we'll see them give each other very deep tissue massages with warm oil on benches after a workout.

Don't let them bully you. Clear muscle definition looks weird to me too. Only one of the girls in the PV has any clearly visible muscle like that one anon said. Lets at least watch a few episodes before calling it gay.

 No.913985

I'll be fucking livid if Hibiki doesn't have a flabby belly. Though I'm surprised that Richfag doesn't have a muscular body. She's the one that loves working out the most and has feelings for Machio, so why doesn't she look like Boxer at the very least?

I hope they get to put best boy not-Jason Statham in there, because "let's hustle muscle!" is so totally a cool and hip catchphrase. He's best boy.

 No.914081

>>913985

>I'll be fucking livid if Hibiki doesn't have a flabby belly.

Seems like they stayed close to the original designs so I'd be surprised if she doesn't.

>Though I'm surprised that Richfag doesn't have a muscular body.

Yeah, it'd be great if she made some physical progress.

First, the exercising and food stuff are all normalfag tier of wrong.

Second, the story itself is bad.

Third, the girls are great (except Akemi, which is a psycho), what the fuck are they doing in this shit story?

Is this going to be like the early yurucamp threads where the faggots come out of the woodwork to screech about these girls in the "cute girls do *hobby*" anime not practicing their respective hobby to the standards of an autistic imageboard user?

 No.914114

>>914109

I think it will, especially considering that /fit/ has been part of the chan culture for a long time. It's not an obscure hobby/lifestyle, so yes, do expect more like this.

 No.914122

>>914109

At least Yurucamp had "yuru" right there in the title so that anyone literate knew not to expect serious wilderness survival.

This doesn't have a great big label directly telling you what level to expect, so I expect it'll end up even worse in that regard.

If this is the manga I remember reading a few years ago I think they do their squats a bit off in it. Hopefully no one goes out and tries to lift or squat 2 plates without exercising a day in their lives because of this show but they'd figure out why it was a bad idea pretty quickly.

Thankfully, there might be people, either trainers or regular customers watching, so if they see a guy doing poor form, they might go and give him advice. Would be funny to hear of a super buff Anon in a year or so, people reporting about the quiet dweeb that first came as pudgy or skinny, and is now in great shape but wearing workout shirts with Chinese cartoon girls.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I've seen official shirts for that. They sold Idolmaster kits for bicycle races, but don't think I've seen them doing the same for a gym shirt, with the exception of MHA/DBZ ones in Hot Topic.

 No.914850

>how much heavy dumbbells can you lift?

As a /fit/fag, I am going to allow my autism about lifting to explode with rage if they show retarded shit about the gym. These fucking nip faggots have better done at least some rudimentary consultation or even just a couple hours of googling to get things right. I better not see any crossfit bullshit retardation in this thing.

I wonder what would Piano Man say about this series.

>>914850

They use a Smiths Machine, anon.

 No.914853

>>914565

It's quite easy to injure yourself with squats because a proper powerlifting squat requires a proper form that is not self intuitive. It is very easy to do something wrong, and that includes people who squat seemingly okay for a few months but then start getting aches and pains from actually having improper form, and the attrition is catching up to them.

You go try to do a weighted squat at a powerlifting gym with no prior experience, and anyone worth his salt is going to be pointing out a dozen different things wrong with your form.

 No.914854

>>914852

Yeah I know, I saw that, it made me grit my teeth, it's part of the reason I made my post to begin with. I'm going to try to give that a pass on the condition they don't go maximum stupid about the content, but that's a red flag already.

 No.914862

Or being so actually full of broscience themselves that a fucking meme of Uncle Rhabdo was spawned at a direct consequence of their incompetence? They've tried to clean up their image since, but nothing with erase the fact that the people behind its inception and spread were a bunch of worthless fucking hacks trying to profit off a fitness craze.

Do you even GOMAD bro?

on a serious note, nobody actually do GOMAD. I did it once. Rip knows what he's talking about insofar as lifting, but his dietary advice is horrible unless you're gonna be a pro powerlifter.

 No.914874

>>914872

The whole point of GOMAD is for skinny high school kids to bulk up for football. That's it. He said exactly this but /fit/ memed the shit so hard everyone thinks he made it a universal recommendation.

 No.914880

>>914874

I did it for a number of months because I was thin. I also ate very healthy, I just had a shit ton of calories every day (when I started I think it was maybe 4.5k give or take 500 Cal). The issue is that you put on too much fat with such a diet, as your body can only incorporate so much protein at a time. It might make sense for pre-season bulking for football, with the understanding that total mass is a big deal for that and so getting fat isn't a bad thing and is meant to be temporary, but GOMAD is a bad idea even for a bulk and cut routine.
