Finally watched the finale of idolish7. I waited almost a year to watch the finale because I didn't want it to end. It was terrific overall. 9/10 and easily in my top 3 anime for 2018.
It had great characters despite a large cast. It was well-directed and emotionally engaging. The music both in-anime and released in association with the anime is really good. Overall it was just great and I can't really deconstruct it because it excelled in every respect. i cried numerous times.
I will say though that it certainly did NOT get the attention it deserved. You should go watch it RIGHT NOW.
I will definitely be rewatching it. The first episode of the Trigger spin-off series looked super promising too. Idolish7 has so many great characters... I love them!!
