"Mutsumi's Retirement Announcement!"
Cute wrestling loli Mutsumi Kudo goes full identity crisis when her favorite wrestling champion announces she's gonna retire, and on top of that all the boys who wrestled with her the year before don't want to wrestle any more. She's clueless as to why, so she chooses to retire as well and bury her own identity. This episode has cool and funny animation and lots of very good jokes and funny situations.
Season 4, episode 17
"Protect the Secret Base!"
The boys form a secret club to do cool shit in and keep it secret from the girls, but the girls one by one find it and then they protect it together against the adults that just don't understand kids.

"Hazuki and Masaru's Treasure"
Because she doesn't know much Japanese, Momo-chan misunderstands Hazuki and thinks she's been given a tiny ocarina to keep, but in fact it was a gift from her bad-boy boyfriend. When the boy finds out Hazuki is giving away his gifts, he becomes a badder boy.
OVA episode 5
"Someone Who Knows the Sorrow ~Pop and Hana's Secret~"
Baby Hana and Pop (Doremi's six year old sister) trade bodies leaving Pop in the body of a baby that can't talk, and Hana goes to school where she acts like a baby to the shock of the entire class. Then she chooses to pee her pants (or rather, Pop's pants) in class, which would humiliate Pop for ever. It's a charming episode about the bond of two sisters, but mostly it's just funny nonsense and pee jokes.
Season 4, episode 24
"With Love and Justice! We Are Majo Ranger!"
Hana becomes a fan of some Power rangers show, but since she has the mind of a baby can't differentiate between TV and reality and so she chooses to become a sentai heroine. The other witches try to stop her at first but soon reconsider.
Season 4, episode 32
"Even a Good Child Worries"
Hana runs away from home because the oldest witches treat her like a baby (which she is) and finds her classmate Sachiko on her way. They talk and become friends, and then Hana messes things up, and we all learn a valuable lesson.
If you watch those and you like them, then you'll know you'll like the show and also you'll get a pretty good idea of what's it all about in tone, humor and themes.

I think CCS had a higher budget, so it could afford to have new costumes in every episode and fewer copy-and-pasted transformation scenes. It also felt a bit more mature and sophisticated compared to Ojamajo Doremi.
That said, I'm only 12 episodes into Ojamajo Doremi and it's already winning on the fetish-fuel front. Sakura is incredibly cute, but the closest thing to fetish-fuel in CCS was a bit of non-specific yuri-teasing with Tomoyo. We never got to see Sakura in any really embarrassing situations.
