It was unfinished the VN and manga all show Jun had a mountain of shit he wanted to add.

It felt like an incomplete visual novel adaptation to me when I first saw it. Really good music though.

It's comfy with good settings and characters

I watched it when it aired and had no idea what I was getting into, the comedy was funny but then the part with Yui happened and that fucked my shit up. Also the ending song was awesome when they changed it so all the characters disappeared.

Great show, has faults but very enjoyable for me.

I still haven't watched it. I guess the wigger (or yegger?) was kinda fun from the clips I saw back then.

Jun Maeda is the best example of how limitations are usually the best for authors. His visual novels already had too much filler content, but due to how visual novel works it could still fly by.

Then he got all that infinite money to do whatever he wanted and he did this mess. An unfinished product full of so many ideas that it end in a mess that makes no sense. He tries to create words too big for what he really wants to talk about. Charlotte was another example of a series crashing with no survivors because of lack of focus. Like half of the series and characters have no point for what he tries to achieve at the end.

The only good thing I can say I remember about it were the GDM albums, but I ended up listening to their music so much years ago that I got tired of it. I've never been able to go back and listen to them for any extended period of time since then, so maybe they weren't that great after all.

Entertaining enough at the start, even if most of the backstories were a bit too over the top for my taste. Took a big nosedive towards the end, and I say this even though I did shed a tear or two at the end, mostly because of the music and concept behind the end rather than any real attachment to any of the characters.

I remember when everyone was felatiating AB! While it was coming out on 1/2 Chan. I got tons of shit because I called it out for being hyped up garbage then. My how things change with just a little time.

The <cry here> moments were well done and managed to draw out a few tears out of most people. The funny moments ranged from decent to rocket chair tier, which was another plus. Music was amazing. Everything else was just kind of unpolished. It felt like a story that wasn't completely planned out before the actual writing process started.
