I really liked the chapter about the outfit competition. You'd think it'd only end in "I got second place and almost defeated the champ :> ", but it didn't.

The chapter about building a kitchen outside of the house was super comfy.

This reminds me of when I posted some cropped images from the manga as a joke when the anime was starting, and some people thought it was actually going to turn into suffering a lot of people had Made in Abyss in recent memory which probably helped.

The last three chapters have been very good. I particularly liked the construction one, and seeing Sen get the spotlight again for a bit was nice. The manga shines when it's about the everyday interactions that these characters have.

I missed that, since the subs back then where truly horrible and I didn't watch it until recently.

Though the story reminds me of those edits from Yama no susume, when the first season aired.

I remember you doing that with the panicked Hakumei holding the cleaver. Good stuff. Some filthy secondaries were genuinely worried.

Speaking of the anime, I've been meaning to go through it again and gather up some screencaps. Some scenes were beautifully picturesque and make for great wallpapers.
