I have no idea what you're on about anyway. What blurriness it has is completely unremarkable for an airing-period release. And I don't see how you could look at these colors and say they're oversaturated. If anything the actual problem (the haziness) leaves them looking washed out. And again, it's not particularly unusual to have overexposure or haziness like that, annoying as it may be, and this case isn't as bad as some (e.g. Asobi Asobase last season). Latching on to this one show and demanding it bomb makes no sense.
None of this has anything to do with budget, either.
No.866618

You're wrong, it's much worse than Asobi Asobase, because the blurriness is much more prominent, the girls are drawn in a much simpler way, yet they can't fucking make it look crisp. Japanese doesn't have proper word stress, it only has pitch accent. All the morae have the same length and volume, only the pitch is different.
I think that ピクシブ is accentless, i.e. the pitch starts low, rises on the 1-2 mora and then levels out.

SoL shows like this need to be at minimum 52 episodes since there is no major plot to advance its easy and comfortable to watch dozens of episodes. Hopefully this gets good sales numbers. The biggest strength is the focus on just three girls and their interactions which makes all of them nice characters. Often cute SoLs put too many girls in at the start and try to sort through all the pairings while making everyone shallow.

We got an answer to the friends vs food discussion. Its somehow a little disappointing but at the same time rewarding to hear they won't suck the blood of a friend no matter how much the friend volunteers. Akari's selling point was the lewd daydreaming voice. The VA did it well.

So when will Sophie turn Akari?
Practically speaking, it would probably be best for her to finish high school first, since she won't be able to be outside during school hours afterwards. Plus it 's for the best for her to be locked at an age old enough to not be seen as a child. But it shouldn't be put off too long either. Maybe it would make a good graduation present.

Truthfully speaking, something has been bugging me about this anime, and the manga too, and I think it might be I just can't relax. Seeing vampires as all upside with the "evil, cursed abomination" aspect vampires are traditionally portrayed with just kind of swept under the rug is a little bit jarring. It's for the best, though; I guess VtM really isn't compatible with CGDCT.
Speaking of which, what clan would they be?

Current year in 2D Japan doesn't care for this like the 2D world did 1000 years ago. No one cares if the vampires are there and living peacefully with everyone else.
>>889869
>age
That is a double edged sword. Sophie mentioned a friend who was turned very young and that person has a relative who was turned when older. The end result is someone with back pain when turned will have back pain for eternity and vice-versa someone who looks 8 when turned will look 8 forever hence they can never do human adult stuff. Trying to be the ideal age say upper teens or lower 20's potentially means being on the "system". Having photo ID for example is difficult since eventually humans expect appearances to change which is why IDs expire and new ones issued. A vampire however could never do such a thing since at 20 and 60 they will look the same and raise suspicion among humans (and draw vampire hunters). Also vampires might not appear in images at all because no reflection. Sophie and Ellie's age when turned vampire is actually perfect since humans don't question children too closely and old enough children to live alone can go with "my parents are away at work" or something. No ID needed either and as long as cash is available there is no problem.
This brings up a big question. Where does Sophie and Ellie get money?
On a totally separate topic. At what age would you want to become a vampire?

Considering the age and quantity of gold she has on hand along with recent prices, she is going to need to know a vampire that deal with gold trading to cash it in for yen. She probably has billions of yen worth of gold lying around too. Is buying gold bars in today's economy a good idea?

At least the sales figures will probably break 1k by next week. It's better than some series that have given us this feel.

Buy it and do what?
If the goal is to protect against economic instability, so that in the event of a major crash you have a solid asset, then no. Executive Order 6102 was a thing and it can happen again.
If you just want a relatively stable long-term asset, land is probably better, since first-world land probably has a better return on decade-timescales. If you're a vampire, then land ownership is going to a bit more difficult than gold, since it's more involved and that could cause trouble with attempts to conceal your nature. But if you can manage it it would be well worth it, since a well-chosen plot of land in North America or Europe from 200 years ago is going to be worth vastly more today than it was then, because of urban and suburban sprawl.

Thank Haruhi it is doing well in Japan. I pray for 1500 to 2k first volume sales. Enough to be considered a success and hopefully encourage a second season if the source material is present.

A tangible investment like you said. Didn't know 6102 existed but that only affects burgers at least for now. I wouldn't go for lots of gold (like 5 oz bars) since I have no way to protect it.
Land is a great idea and Sophie seems to have quite a bit already surrounding her house which is excellent since shes in some city in Japan. Burgers have land pretty good since their population density as a nation is pretty low. Huge pieces of land relatively (within 1 to 2 hours by car) close to cities go for next to nothing.

I know anime land is easier for some things, but realistically, how hard would it to be a RL vampire?
Let's say you got turned into one at Ellie/Sophie's age, so no pesky official IDs because you look like an adult. I think it would be tiresome in that you could never settle down for long and would have to squat or outright live in unused hotel rooms before the owners notice. You'd also have to keep very little with you, so no books or small collections if you're gonna fuck off from Hungary and escape to Poland, for example. Living in small forgotten towns would be optimal, or would living in huge cities would be better? If you're gonna be an eternal teen, how could you amass a decent fortune for living? Or would you have to resort to crime and steal valuables but not treasures, because even in the black market they'd be suspicious of you? How long before people notice your lack of reflection, or aversion to typical vampire weaknesses? Even if you come out as a vampire and show that you're not going to actively terrorize people, how would they treat you? Would you be something like a celebrity, or would some shady people restrain you in order to experiment with your immortality?
No.894240

Residence should be either an isolated rural home, driving to local towns for supplies as needed, or an apartment / townhouse on the outskirts of a city where people never pay attention to their neighbors. Living nearby to a city gives the advantage of having close access to supplies of blood, either in the form of people or blood banks and blood drives. As for money, you would first want to save up money working at a shitty part-time job or whatever you can get at your age. Then once you've amassed a good amount you can play the stock market. Since you're a vampire you can wait as long as necessary to sell your stocks for a profit. Crime probably wouldn't be a good alternative because you run the risk of getting caught and if you're caught multiple times, someone is going to get suspicious about this one kid who's been committing crimes for forty years. Avoiding being noticed would be pretty easy. Weakness to garlic can be passed of as an allergy, weakness to crosses as being a fedora-tipper, etc. Outing yourself as a vampire would be your worst option since almost certainly research groups would be interested in your condition. If you just live as a hikki-NEET or as close as you can get, no one will probably notice you at all. Maybe you'd be the target of a bunch of NEETS on a chinese cartoon forum who notice that pictures of this one person can be found all across time and the person never ages. But no one would take it seriously.
