I say it's pretty generic overall. Very predictable (everyone knew that girl would be the princess or someone of higher standing when meeting that mechanic boy), and the stuff that isn't just wasn't fleshed out enough or had poor foreshadowing. They made it seem like that boy and the 2 girls didn't seem like they were trying to find each other after that attack 3 years ago. Main girl stumbling into her summoning scroll was trite already but she didn't even mention it when she came back to her armless sister until it was revealed when that village was attacked. Seems like it's going to be bland as Angolmois: it has some ideas but the execution of it all will be done poorly. Armless girl should have been alone and a main character focus of the story.
Also, to the one talking about fujoshit, if you want something that's currently airing now which is close to Ken en Ken, that would be Bakamatsu so far. Time altering with all your famous warring states era people making cameos.
