This one is my favorite, it's a mashup between Oh My Goddess! and a rather silly song, Lovers of Loving Love by the Aquabats, but it actually goes together really well!

There was one that used "Down the Road" but it wasn't just Bebop.

This loli knows what a good AMV is all about. All the slick editing of newer ones don't mean shit if the video+music isn't fun. There was a time when it was considered a given that AMVs were cheesy and funny.

Suitably nonsense for a thoroughly nonsense anime.

Thanks, I've been looking for this anime for a while.
A manga shop I used to visit carried this manga in moonrunes only and I couldn't ever figure out what it was.

Good animation and an improvement over the manga. It focuses on the important characters and leaves out a stupid subplot.

Yes, it's good and it would have gotten more exposure if it didn't have the misfortune to have been released at the same time as Kimi no Na wa

I'm going to disagree here, the degree to which the movie butchers the main character and almost completely ignores the side characters (especially Ueno, who was just as prominent as Shouko in the manga) makes the movie worse than the manga from a story perspective. It functions well as a work of art though.

Ueno was right.
She did nothing wrong.

That would be my absolute recommendation. It's best to enjoy the manga for the characters, along with the unique art and god-tier paneling. The movie is good for its abstract take on the story due to time constraints and the soundtrack, best to watch it after reading.

It's one of the few things they do right, I can never put my finger on it but I can't stand the way the characters move in their shows.
>>871391
Agreed. Her character is by far the best.

Tamako Market was lackluster and I don't know why I bothered watching it. I think it's just that we were coming off of their Golden Age and I wanted more of the God-tier KyoAni we once had.
But then the movie came out and it made everything worth it. Tamako Love Story was fucking brilliant and it's a shame not a whole lot of people watched it because they didn't want to sit through the show to get there, but I'm telling you. Tamako Love Story is worth sitting through the show.
Somehow even when KyoAni fucks up with their shows, anytime they make a movie it's still fantastic.
