It’s because she was built up so much back in Golden Age and has done nothing since the Eclipse. Couple that with the fact that the infamous Boat arc was all about traveling to get aid for Casca, keep in mind this lasted for almost EIGHT YEARS. Now it looks like Casca might be getting better and the story might be moving forward and we get Griffith adventures. People have died waiting for the story to move forward, people want the pay off for eight years of waiting patiently.

He's still technically the badguy, but Miura is going to have to pull something out of his ass to make it believable at this point. He has the power of a godhand, so he has no reason to sac his new city for more power. Guts can't use teleportation, but Schierke probably can. The demons getting out of control and murdering everyone is the only plausible thing that could happen at this point and that would only happen if Griffith allowed it to happen. That would mean that the other godhand decided to move against him or Guts managed to disable him somehow, which would just make Guts retarded for endangering that many people. I suppose there could be a timeskip as well. I think it was stated that time moves differently on elf island, so we might jump ahead x many years to a point where the citizens of Falconia have become monsters somehow. It doesn't even feel like a story based on revenge anymore. Where is it even going at this point? Guts shows up to take down Griffiths, and then what?
