The funny shit is that Angolmois would look decent without those shitty filters on top of it. I watched the first episode of that one and It seemed pretty bland and boring, the background music was absolute shit that didn't even fit the setting, the OP and ED were also trash and those filters were the cherry on top:

It's about lazy and cheap ways of "improving" their shows. Probably since those studios are small they can't make the people doing the coloring put details into the actual backgrounds so they just put some filters on top of it to make do and hope nobody notices.

No, they're both being raised together with other Iga and Kouga kids, both clans were together but each one wanted to have a descendant of their clan leaders to be their representatives and conveniently there are 2 kids, 1 for each clan. They're very lucky.
