Gentle's clearly a filler in between a major arc like the Yakuza one, but at least it introduced a bunch of interesting villains, a neat new ability for Deku(that will hopefully segway into him being able to use the air blast to move in midair like Autism Bomber), but at the same time I feel like it didn't really develop characters as well as say, the finals arc or the tournament did.(I figure mainly because most of the characters not fleshed out in either arc is pure shit and outside of porn the series would not lose anything if they weren't there in the first place)

Speaking of shorter arcs, I think that's where Hori really shines. MHA didn't linger on anything up until the Overhaul arc, and that's (in my opinion) the weakest of them all. I got into MHA just after he hit 100 chapters, but I don't think a single arc took as long as that one or had such slow pacing.

Deku can't report the fight because his license only allows him to do hero activities alongside a full licensed hero. The fight will end with Gentleman and Brava realizing he's a great kid that represents a new wave of heroes that only want to do good, and joining the actual hero registry to help him out because there's genuine evil that needs to be stopped. It won't happen, but a man can dream.

I agree with him, not because of the "late to something" bit, but because the current story arc has realistic and down to earth threats that mean Deku could honestly lose the fight without ruining the story. If a villain's plan becomes, "Blow up the earth," you know that there's no chance in hell he wins because there can't be a story beyond that point. If Hori were a smarter dude, he'd have Deku lose an "important" event soonish to shock the audience, and this would be an effective time to do that. Establish that despite being an autistic study with All-Might's power, he can still lose because he's not that great. A good ending for this arc would have Eri seeing a portion of the festival, getting interrupted, and then see the aftermath of Deku trying his hardest to let her enjoy it, and smiling because he did his best to let her have a happy memory. But once again, I don't think Hori is that smart.

A quick google search shows that La Brava is the title of a story about a guy meeting a celebrity he had a crush on when he was a kid and getting involved in her life.
