From the episode where moonlight arrived to the end everything just went straight up. Story, battles, characters, everything got a lot better. The first 30 something episodes had meaning at the end. When the planet became a desert they didn't show non-precure saved people stuck inside the crystals since it would be too scary but they did get the point across really well. Marine vs Kumojacky kind of stole the show. Moonlight vs Dark was not as good as the first time from pure fighting since there was more character development than anything. Sunshine vs Cobraja was decent too. Tsubomi really nicely accepted her role as weakest precure ever but still did things really well and embodied her role as a weak MC. RIP Sabaaku. I thought he didn't die and Coppe would save him but he didn't appear in the epilogue so I guess hes dead for real.

I'll say again what I said after watching Pripara. Little girls should control the animation industry. No one should waste their time watching crap like Evergarden when shows like this exist. Its funny how there is a growing disparity between friendship&love magical girls like Sakura compared to mahouiku and mahousite blood baths with magical girls. It was great at first. Season 1 and 2 are excellent. Essentially Nanoha makes friends by beating the hell out of people and then shooting a humongous magical cannon. Season 3 tried to advance time a great deal making Nanoha into a JK (she was JS or JC in season 1 and 2) along with aging the human cast members. They made up some whole government system, first mentioned in season 2, she was a part of and then axed her powers a bit. The focus was on the new characters which all sucked and among them is the kid (Vivio) Nanoha and Fate adopted. The story writer decided to cater to the yuri fanboys and make NanohaxFate canon in season 4 (named Vivio) where again time has passed making the humans into 20+ year old adults and even weaker still. Vivio is JS and learning magic enhanced martial arts where she makes friends by physically beating the hell out of other girls but its for sport not the save the world like season 1 and 2 so its no more exciting than a sports anime. Finally in Vivid Strike two new characters do the same thing because drama and misunderstandings. Its essentially an animated fan-fiction. The original characters from season 1 and 2 and non-existent. I haven't read the Force manga but supposedly its similar trash. The first two movies are retellings of season 1 and 2. The third movie happens before season 3 and explains how Nanoha lost some of her magic powers. That story somehow ties into the Gears of Destiny PSP game as there are shared characters. Haven't watched the movies yet.

Its worth nothing that in season 4, instead of JS putting on magical boxing gloves and beating each other to a pulp, they become adults usually then do that. Adults in physical form via magical transformation sequence. They are even told to imagine themselves over 18 years old to activate their magic the first time. There's more flaws about HaCha than just the aforementioned disappointments, sadly. The concepts it uses are poorly executed, the international Cures, the form change gimmick not being fully exploited, and several plots being dropped, even the collectibles are retarded (The Precards being three combining pieces for no other reason to make kids/parents spend more money instead of one solid card with the form change, to later not even being used). Megoom and Oresky are fantastic though.

I think the execution of it was somehow pretty boring, and lacking any real impact somehow. Even Ruru remembering was brought along without any triggers, she just didn't delete the memories after all, and that was that.

And I already don't want to watch next episode, Emiru is the worst addition this series could have gotten, so fucking irritating.

That was surprisingly lame for a character story climax. Next week is more of best girl team!

Yes. This could and honestly should have been a blood bath in a river of tears. Bots gaining emotion is a well trodden path and for whatever reason this ending fell on its face after a decent build up. The fist fight was bizarre with the bullet ricochet sound effects and no one landed a clean blow. Ruru just not deleting anything could have been a whole episode inside her head where she acts as a virus to protect her memories or something. I dont understand bothering to show Emiru running to the scene at all only for her to hide behind a tree. Her binoculars already let her see everything from home, wouldn't it have been easier to show her reaction from home at the end?
