>I'm more worried about the 18 or so sequels/continuations/terrible reboots we are set to recieve in spring of 2018.
>The hell is up with that?
Lots of aniversaries, it's Nagai's 50th anniversery and many of his manga get remakes/sequels/reboots this year.
It's Ashita no Joe's 50th anniversery, and next season we get a sci-fi Ashita no Joe reimagination.
There's also the soccer world cup comming up, it's a good time for Tsubasa to get a remake.
And in general I have a feeling that there is a lack of modern manga/LN/VN/games that are suitable for anime adaptations, which in turn leads to lots of old shows being remade.
