Then it's just trash. Why do all these "martial arts" series just copy DBZ and make powerlevels and "special techniques" all that matters? I'm really tired of this concept of special/secret techniques in combat-focused stuff. Even someone like me that knows practically nothing about martial arts can tell that that isn't how it works. Especially when they do clearly stupid things like naming and announcing it as it's used, always doing the same thing over and over or use something extremely easy to counter like jumping high into the air and coming down. Why wouldn't your opponent just sidestep it and hit you as you come down? There's no point in pretending to be about martial arts if they're just going to be rooted to the spot except for when they rush at each other with their fancy yet impractical techniques.
