Well the manga is ongoing in weekly joomp and David confirmed a second season which was originally planned for this summer but could get pushed back. Also around the time that S1 ended David announced that they were commandeering (offering actual salaried positions to) a bunch of freelancers that had been working with Shaft, so I think they're increasing their capacity to work on multiple proper projects at once long-term. From what Okubo has said about how long he expects the manga to be: the anime (assuming it continues to adapt at a similar pace) would be roughly 6 cours, so if they continue to do 2 cour seasons with 6 months in between it would wrap up at the end of fall 2021.

The anime and mangas both started before FF so I don't think it's really replacing it. I also don't think it's particularly popular in Japan, but well enough to keep getting published and having the anime keep going.

That's definitely one of the most successful shoonens in recent years, I thought it was good.
There's plenty of room in weekly jump and in my schedule for all 3 though. I hope we get to see all 3 animes concluded canonically and the mangas finish on their own terms.
Black Clover has the least consistent animation (because they're not taking seasons off obviously). BC gets nice animation when there's something big happening plotwise, even though it's a powerpoint when there's not. UFO and David did great in both of their series.

I just meant in comparison to all the other big shonens Fireforce has dropped off the radar,especially when it was airing everyone was hyped for it then the hype died down.
They should have release an OVA since they might not get a season 2 because of the communist deathpress flu.
