So one of the biggest problems with downloading any IIDX game is that it's so damn big and it takes forever to download.
This is playable copula which has been stripped down to make the filesize below 2GB. It's based off the update disk version and will work with Ainsun completely fine
Please note that Copula Nano is intended for people who want to try out IIDX without downloading 50GB+ of data
Compressed Filesize - 1.09GB
Extracted Filesize - 1.91GB
ea3 config is already set up for ainsun, just put in a pcbid and you should be good to go!
What works:
All songs in the copula folder
Full Ainsun connectivity
Free mode
Premium free mode
Tutorial
What's been removed:
BGA's (Press OK/Alt+f4 at the error message)
"Step up" mode
All non copula songs

What takes up more data? Songs or BGAs? If the songs aren't that large, I wouldn't mind having a separate download for those. Maybe chop them up into packs or something for people to download.

in a standard copula install songs take up 12.8gb of space and BGA's take up 27.1gb of space. Konami doesn't use a decent codec on the BGA's so their filesizes are huge

Oh wow. I figured they were using uncompressed audio and that was why the games were so huge. Guess I was wrong. I would not mind downloading a pack of just the song data.
I've never a played a Beatmania game before. 14 gigs sounds a fuckton better than 50.
