Looks like the 3DS game, maybe they're reusing old assets from that and hardware from the Wii-era arcade boards that Nintendo did stuff on?

God I hope so, that means we'll eventually be able to dump it and get it emulated and running on regular hardware

Although it's far more likely a Linux based PC hardware like the new Mario Kart Arcade
