I'm not here to discredit Occultism or anything of that sort, what I'm wondering is whether or not Schizophrenics may actually have a connection to the Spiritual realm (as the Ancients apparently believed) or if Psychiatrists are correct and they're simply "crazy".

It seems that mental illness is simply one big scheme by the elites to correct anyone who is possibly seen "out of line" with mainstream society.

(Pic not related by the way.)

let me tell you something, psychiatrics doesnt understand 1/10 of what they Claim to understand about the human mind. Jung was one of the few that got close to understanding something. Schizoz are people who couldn't deal with their spiritual awakening. A shaman witch mage or whatever name you want to call its a schizo aswell the only difference its that they can stop it whenever they wish. Meanwhile the normal one from the psychyard is open to it 24/7 and because of it unstable and unreliable, as they get so lost, so tired that they can't differentiate between an ilusion and a real experience.

the greeks would actually say that someone whom is insane is closer to the Godhead of Zeus, but mental illness carried social outcasting, so it was seen as both a blessing and curse. The greeks would also induce ceremonies of madness for the sake of "social hygiene", getting feelings off your chest, relieving the pressures of civilisation and so on. These two videos were quite interesting in looking at the topic:

I do typically engage in the modern marxist interpretation of emergent mental illness, in it being primarily a result of alienation in capitalist society, so I don't think we should celebrate mental illness of being in-contact with greater forces, but the result of the trauma of existing in today's society. You are correct though that mental illness can sometimes be categorised by deviance from authority, and can profit medical companies in the ideology of "fixing" your problems with medication, when everyone has the intuition that this is a poor substitute to proper therapy.

materialistic epistemology in "proving" the occult sciences try to divorce the inherint madness of spirituality and transform it into a rational concept, when this attacks the fundamental emotional nature of the spirit, this is the fault of enlightenment values attacking subjectivity and striving for objectivity instead. This is why we get these weird mutated new age movements, which even seem more insane than classical practices of magick.

The quest for objectivity actually began in ancient Greece, was temporarily interrupted with the fall of the Roman Empire, and then began again during the late middle ages, which gave rise to humanism, the Renaissance, the scientific revolution and finally the enlightenment…

The bogus spirit stricknine is not real occultism, because it’s not really hidden. Real occultism is what I did to promote the tastiest energy drink I ever found. I just had to find a lie that was perfect, ie true. ;)

Maybe there is something to this. Part of meditation is trying to clear your mind, while schizophrenics are often out of their mind. So this is possibly equivalent to the effects of psychoactive drugs in a way. Now it's starting to make sense why children and old people are said to be closer to spirits, they don't think as much. High IQ was a mistake.

we are alienated from the product of our labour in capitalist society because the bourgeoisie exploit us, leaving a mismatch between our standard of living, and the effort we put into maintaining it, which can lead to mental illness.

I think there's definitely a link between occultism and mental illness. I've often wondered if the mentally ill were simply "unwell" because they were wired to something else, picking up some frequencies normal people are not tuned to.

Sounds to me like he is a mentally ill child.

Don’t you people ever get tired of doing that guy’s bidding? ;). You know who I’m talking about. The one who made you hurt yourself breaking containment.

Come clean! Sunlight is your disinfectant! Are you not lashing out in obsessive terror at a world where all happiness is danger? Are you not righteous? Are you not big, superior, assured of your position? So expose your malefactor! Pin “that guy” to the sky? Hah!

If you are of sound mind and have spent any time around someone with schizophrenia it is very clear that they are mentally ill. There is no connection to an alternate anything, they are screwed up in the head.

this. imagine growing up with schizophrenic parents and then OP telling us that they have any connection with God. If anything, it is demons whom have possessed schizos.
