The Legend:
>in the mid to late 1800's a expeditionary group of miners were hiking through the mountain ranges in BC.
>looking for good mining spots.
>one fateful nigt, a huge storm hit the the area.
>the group decided that they needed to get out of there befor the storm got worse even worse.
>even though it was nighttime, their only chance was to leave imidiatly.
>as they were treking back down the mountain range, they got seperated from eachother in the thick stormfall.
>only 2 people managed to make it off the mountain alive.
>the rest of the 16 expiditionaries supposedly lost their way in the storm and never made it down the mountain.
>their bodies were never found.
>they just dissapeared.
>to this day, if you are hiking out in the wilderness of bc with a group,
>you might see the lantern lights of the miners who lost their way on the mountain, looking for a way out.
>they look like strange moving fireflies, but they don't leave the shape of the mountain range.
>if you do see them, get out of there ASAP.
>they are a death omen, of a dangerous storm that is about to hit.
Legend has it, that these missing hikers/expeditionaries have become a death omen.
if a major and dangerous storm is about to hit, you can see the lantern lights of
the miners moving around on the mountain, trying to find their way out. If you are
hiking/camping int he wilderness of BC, and see the lost lights, then that signifies
a dangerous storm is approaching. Apperently, however many lights you see on the
mountain, is however manypeople are going to die in your hiking/camping group, from
the storm that is about to hit.
if you are lucky, and you and your group get the fuck outa dodge quick eneugh, then
thereis a chance that you and your group can avoid the storm and live.
this isn't your typical "no-one has seen it and lived to tell about it" tale.
you can live if you heed the warnings.
if anyone knows more about this legend, has any logical theories to explain this phenomenon, or has any personal experience with this legend, please share, it would really be appreciated.
