If you were to ask a random person on the street, they would probably agree mysticism and science are completely opposite

However, I believe that's not the case

I think the human mind can very well alter the world (it already controls this complicated body using a chemical/organic version of computer codes)

There have been studies that show someone's will can influence a random number generator, although this could very well be pure chance

To me, the psychic abilities of the brain just haven't been discovered yet, as the brain is not fully understood

Also, I think objects by themselves do not hold any magical properties, but by labelling them as having an effect and believing in it, they gain those properties

Is there a name to label people who think as I do? Are there any on this board?

Though he sadly appears to be a virtue signalling regressive, I think Moore is correct when it comes to how magic works.

“When I started to become interested in magic, I understood that everything that people talk about with regards to magic, is all absolutely true, as long as you understand that it is happening inside people’s minds. And it struck me that that must be what magic is, it must be like treating the space that we perceive in our minds as a kind of territory. And I thought that working on that hypothesis, you could explore that territory.”

So you don't seem to really believe in the pararnormal, since you say stuff like "it could be pure chance" or that belief makes objects have magical properties. Why can't the objects have those properties by themselves? Why can't we affect random number generators? There have been scientific studies done on telepathy with very high success rates.
