The girl is the feminine (-) parts of your unconscious mind. The boys are the masculine (+) parts. There are more boys than girls because obviously you're a male. It seems that your feminine components, ie empathy, spirituality, intuition, etc, are at odds with your masculine parts, ie rationality, conviction, will to power, etc. The canary, an animal, indicates that this feminine anima originates from the animistic, primal part of your unconscious. In most dreams, as in this dream, you are the ego-consciousness, ie the arbiter of the unconscious and the endpoint for making decisions and acting on them. Your anima's desiccated body indicates that she has either been severely neglected and abused, either by you or by outside forces. You know as you see her that you should be nurturing her, but as she dominates your ego (parallels can be made here to putting your faith in your intuition, or in spirituality), you fear for your manhood and thus retreat again from her. But by putting your faith in your anima, you are actually lifted above her and grow as a person.

Also, in case it means anything, I had gone on a long vaping session prior. I was feeling a bit queezy, went to the bathroom to piss, vaped while looking at the mirror, then just couldn't take it. Had a fucking massive headache and felt out of breath, decided to lie down on my bed and then I fell asleep and had this dream. Does drug use correlate with vivid dreams at all? Again I'm not very knowledgeable here so I'm kind of just shooting the shit here.

Yes. Ignore the mainstream and even 'alternative' propaganda that nicotine is so evil , addictive and destructive. Shit has neuro-protective and neuro-regerative properties and has some moderated/synergistic roll along with Vit. B3. Additionally, there are many successful trials underway with nicotine as treatment for Alzheimers, Parkinsons, general cognitive insufficiency, and Traumatic Brain Injuries.

That said, too much will make you sick(daily overuse helps me have BMs), and start to damage/kill nerual tissues. You May have had some strange combo going on between cleaning out dead/dying tissues(immune response) and new paths being made.

I too notice nicotine affecting dreams. If you want some real fun, combine that with galantamine, especially before bed. It will help you think sharper/clearer during day, more vividly day dream and help you lucid dream/extremely vividly dream at night. I'm not a lucid dreamer or have ever really tried to, and found this combo periodically allowed surprising influence on my dreams.

Fair warning though, it will exacerbate any digestive and possibly cardiovascular negative side effects. Nic on an empty stomach tears me up. So, together is agony with no food. Even a little food and everything calms down.

On the note of food, even to this day lots of pepperoni or spiced processed meat before bed gives me nightmares/disturbed dreams.

When I eat before bed I usually have vivid nightmares. The only things I think can be consumed before bed without conjuring crazy dreams would be water and prescription medicine.

I'm gonna try an experiment tonight, I'll try and get back to this thread tomorrow morning. I'll do a long vape session again, go to sleep, then actually start recording the dream in a dream journal once I wake up. If I see results I'll keep posting in this thread and continue the habit, otherwise I'll assume this was just a one time thing pertaining to my current situation with femininity/masculinity. Hopefully I can get dreams of similar clarity to delve deeper into my situation.

Had this dream when I was very little, 5 or 6 years old I'd say.

Dreams, especially nightmares are a way for the brain to effectively clean itself from the all useless proteins and stuff.

This dream could mean so much, but for a not-shit explanation you would at least provide us with your age/career/social status.

Start looking around your land if you live on some land. She was not hostile. She was obviously a victim of a very, very violent end.

If something is FAR too complicated and detailed to be a fabrication of your mind, then it's a message.

Scan around locally for that trio of names, Josh, Ben, and David.

I was with a buddy in a house. He lived upstairs, downstairs was not rented out but owned by someone who rented him upstairs.

It was dark down there. Darker than the level of light allowed.

I just randomly asked him this: "How many people have been murdered in this house?"

"Two."

Anyway, as I said, look around and see what you can find, using those names. Tell some friends IRL about the dreams so you can have people back you up that you aren't the SOLE SUSPECT if it turns out that people find out you found out about something they didn't want you to find out about.

Check the floors, walls, and attic for any signs of recent rebuilding or refinishing. Use a detecor of some sort out in yard/durrounding land.

People who die do not come back to haunt us, but we can be given glimpses of comminques in their behalf. (Like no girlie is going to lift you up by the armpits, it was symbolic of something, perhaps done to her.)

I'm a bit skeptical, but I'll take your advice and try to investigate further, I don't see any harm in looking into this. Plus, I'm not particularly busy and experiencing something paranormal or religious seems like a pretty fun endeavor. I'll write down what I know regarding what the dream might relate to.

I do have fond memories of friends from elementary school who were named Josh, Ben and David, of which I know Josh used to have a crush on an emo girl with long red hair which we teased him for. Ben actually got to go to prom later on in high school with a girl who had long red hair, but it was pretty clear that she wanted him because his family's pretty wealthy. This was a different girl from the one Josh wanted. David also used to hang out with this one girl who had long red hair as well during middle school, he pretty obviously liked her too. These were three different girls though. Potentially important info is that no one really heard about or talked about the emo red haired (she dyed her hair, actual hair color is black) girl who Josh wanted after middle school ended. Some rumors spread around that she had a boyfriend who was like 17 when she was only 13, that she had to go to therapy and that she had killed herself before high school started. I never looked into it and I do not remember her last name. I do still have contact with Josh so I can see what he knows, but I'm not too sure if his memory is going to hold up.

The main thing throwing me off here is that the dream was just one girl who rejected all three boys listed, and in my story it was all three different girls who happened to have long red hair. I'll examine some old yearbooks to see if there are any Joshes, Bens, or Davids that were rumored to like the same red headed girl and if anything happened to that girl.

This is all just me recounting my memory without investigating anything in regards to my property or my friends, and I'm still pretty skeptical that anything is going to result from

investigating a dream I had. I'll still try to gather as much info as I can, if I find anything I'll update the thread.
