Years ago someone asked for help to fuck up some squirrels that have been causing him trouble, I provided him an effective solution.

Without any contracts it would be very difficult because not all curses are the same. Unless you can identify what you saw, it would be nearly impossible to find a proper solution that you could do by yourself.

The only thing I can think of is to keep a Picea mariana branch tethered to you via white sheep-wool yarn. The yarn must touch skin and be tethered to a small branch, mostly around the wrist. So long as the branch is alive and green, it should protect you from flesh-bound curses, but not from soul-bound.

Keep in mind, the yarn must be white sheep-wool, whiter the better. The branch must be form a Picea mariana spruce sappling.

As for the gender dysphoria. There is not direct solution. The only thing I can suggest is finding acceptance through purpose. Perhaps an Umbra Pact, but I doubt you'd find one to form a pact with in the first place. Human sacrifice is no go. Most rituals are old, and probably unreliable due to being spread by word of mouth. Screw it up and nothing happens, but you just killed a person. As to blood offerings, the person doesn't need to die. Just to willingly provide their blood.

I haven't posted in the thread, so I'm not anyone above, but I think about the purpose behind sacrifices sometimes. Sacrifices can come in either slaughter or just giving something up.

For giving something up, even people in Christian churches may pass down the belief of giving up something they own as an offering, but usually this is more like a shedding of worldly things than magic. Some basic magic can also be seen in some Christians, like the act of burning a piece of paper with something written on it as to remove it from their lives. Whereas in pagan traditions, offerings to gods and spirits is more of an exchange, but sacrifices here must be true and not simply offering scraps. Burning stuff as a way to destroy something so it can transform into a spiritual form is also used, much like the death of an inanimate object. But burials, abandoning, and throwing into water is also used.

The use of slaughter as a blood sacrifice from the accounts I can remember, are more specific to connecting with gods and spirits. The most common theme though is the scapegoat in Judeo tradition, with the goat taking on sins. This could be related to some forgotten concept of karma-like rules, but is just thought of as God accepting this offer. I'm not into the Goetia, but there may be one or two demons from that set that involve blood. Demons require very precise rituals, more like computer code than spirits, if the people I've listened to truly know this subject. But I could be thinking more of elementals here if you're familiar with demonology. Some Judeo traditions seem to involve drinking human blood and cannibalism, but I don't know anything else about these besides what gets circulated on image boards. Across the world, there have also been human sacrifice to gods, but there is very little records on the reasons behind why people believed in doing this. Then the amount of sacrifices seems to vary by time period as well. Some people in some cultures place food on alters for ancestral spirits to absorb the energy from, or at least to invite them with a place of their own, so this may be a related concept.

So even when I look into more to try and learn why people used human sacrifice, it leads me nowhere. I get more of an idea through the implied reasons left in history, but it doesn't offer a good enough explanation as to the true purpose and how it's supposed to work. It seems to have fallen out of popularity in some areas, before sacrifices became a crime/taboo, so maybe it was an idea that didn't succeed in performing the magic like intended. Or like you said, wrong information that spread word of mouth.

I'm no anthropologist or historian of magic, or even from any occult family or tradition. I do have some other ideas in mind related to associating objects with ideas in magic, much like astrology is a reflection. There is also the idea of people going into the afterlife, where sacrifice could be like communicating to the gods via the dead. There are so many possible reasons behind how human sacrifice started. My personal belief though is that killing isn't really a sacrifice in the true sense of the word, especially against the will of the person being sacrificed, so I don't see how this would work out to begin with unless it was demanded by a god or spirit. Plus there is the karma involved and the intentions of the situation. Human sacrifice overall just seems like a very bad idea, counter-productive.

I've had both done to me by good friends and they've managed to reveal personal information in accurate/nonbullshitty ways. I didn't reveal any details of one person's reading to the other, and they were at least a few weeks/months apart. I didn't go out of my way to get these done, they were just at opportune times.

Palm Reader Friend has done only a couple of readings to me, but she says she does better when she's had alcohol (I asked a family member who practices Reiki and they were able to confirm some veracity to that). Though each time, she's asked me very specific questions about myself and was able to describe places that I have strong feelings towards.
