Alright guys. After exhausting a lot of obvious (and not so obvious) methods and teachings for developing energy control, and latent psychic abilities, I feel as though I've come up short. I get spurts of the aforementioned abilities once in a blue moon, but I've yet to find a clear and concise teaching or method to obtain the results I desire. While I realise my lackluster meditation practice has a lot to do with this, I humbly ask what paths you've followed or designed in order to develop yourselfs in beneficial ways. Thank you for your time.

I'm not an expert on this kind of stuff, but if I were you, I would start by making a list of what you've tried so far, what books have you read, what seemed to work and what didn't, how long have you been practicing, etc. You might have been following the wrong advice, or following the right advice the wrong way. Setting a specific goal would also be helpful. What do you hope to achieve exactly? Maybe I'm just making the wrong assumptions, but it sounds to me like you've read a little bit of this, a little bit of that, didn't pay too much attention to what you were reading, tried meditating a few times and gave up almost immediately because it was boring and you weren't bending spoons with your mind yet.

Several things that work for me:

1. Get grounded. Try to get outside barefoot in contact with the dirt every day possible. Begin a garden. Don't wear headphones/music or sunglasses out there. Try to absorb nature through all five senses at once. When you become grounded you are becoming more attuned mentally to the whole world.

2. Have a pyramid above you when you sleep. Mom and grandma and I always kept a plain small cardboard pyramid on a shelf directly above where they slept. Being under a pyramid when you sleep is supposed to boost the psychic energies.

3. Make a dowsing rod and explore. Dowsing rods have been used for a long time to seek out things. Metal coat hangers seem to work best, but people just used sticks a long time ago. You will be amazed when you are just walking along and the tip dives to the ground unexpectedly.

4. I usually eat a snack before bed and wash down a 500mg. niacin pill right before i go to sleep. This makes my dreams extermely vivid and long lasting. It works for me, anyway.

I would advise you to not use any Ouija boards or attempt astral projection. These may seem to do interesting things at first, but leave you vulnerable to sinister or demonic entities out there.

A. Go to sleep keeping aware of your breath. When you wake up, you should automatically go straight to being aware of your breath, as if you never stopped being aware. Where your mind "goes" to be aware of your breath is important. Starting with the nose and then slowly going down to the lungs (careful to cover every inch of the passageways) then back up is good, and you can start "breathing" in different areas of the body afterward. You can just start with your general chest area if you want. The point is to practice "Breath Control and Awareness" ← what you can write in your notebook if you write shit down.

B. Go to sleep keeping aware of your heartbeat. Similar to above.

C. Do the above two while awake.

D. Perception and Observation – this is everything. Develop the capacity to feel and 'see' your organs, fascia, tendons, bones, muscles, skin, blood, mucous etc. This is Perception. In order to develop your perception you have to use observation – this is an active form of perception that digs into what you're trying to perceive. It's essential that you develop your Observing eye.
